I went to Roses nails last year and was really happy with the service. I would get Gel Nails or a Pedicure. The price was a little high so I tried out a few different salons in Encinitas/Carlsbad. But I came back to Roses Nails--their name is changed to Queen's Nails now, they've changed owners. I always get right in, rarely have to wait and have had a positive experience each time. My favorite for a Pedicure is Nancy, she gives a long and excellent leg massage. I take all my family members there also. The current staff is professional and well trained. If your nails chip within a week they will repair it free.

Love the dip nails but the service is not very good. You get the feeling that they are talking about you right in front of you.

about a week ago I entered the salon and they immediately said that they had room. I had specifically asked for a "gel fill" and told them these were fake nails. Considering that their job is to do nails, I figured they knew what I meant...however, when I sat down the person began to clip my fake nails, not even asking if I had wanted them cut that short. I had asked him what he was doing and he look a bit puzzled. I then told him, again, that these were fake nails. and he responded, "oh I don't do gel." Then as he began to take off my whole fake nail to put in a new set I already had provably gotten previously, his 10:30 appt. came in. So on top of screwing up my nails, he began to rush me. Then telling me to come back an HOUR later. How appalled I was. My whole nails absolutely butchered. About an hour later my nails began to split as he left the gel still on! My pinky nail split down the middle, and is still not completely repaired.

Their service was horrible!!! I would not recommend this place.
