I've been getting my nails done since middle school and this is the absolute worst service I've ever experienced. Arrived over an hour before closing and had to wait a while which I didn't mind, but then my service was INCREDIBLY rushed. I was then also rushed off of the nail dryer so they could go home despite my nails not being dry, and when one got smudged on the way out (as expected!), I was shamed for them having to stay a few minutes late to fix it. All three women at once were literally like "UGHHH" and "you shouldn't have come so late" and "do you know what time it is? we should be on our way home!" -- I was so taken aback and embarrassed that I started apologizing even though I'd done nothing wrong. When I arrived over an hour before closing, they could have just told me there wasn't enough time left. To make matters worse, my nails were chipping within a few days.

Hidden Gem in Bernardsville!
We just moved to the area, and I was looking for a local nail salon to keep up my LCN gel set. I found this place via the Bernardsville Bubble Facebook group (if you are a new local, it's a great place for recommendations) and noted that they didn't have any Google/Yelp reviews, but decided to take a chance because of the many positive reviews from locals. I am very glad I did - I left my appointment much more relaxed than I went in!
I had an appointment for a LCN Gel fill + Gel polish. Racheal (sp?) accommodated me right away, and asked me a few questions about what I liked (polish, shape, etc) and the final result was spot on. She knows what she's doing, especially compared to other salons that I've been to where they glob it on. She takes her time, doesn't chat too too much (nice to zone out and catch up on Food network, amiright?). I also received a nice chair massage while my polish cured! The salon wasn't too busy on a Sunday morning, so she offered a pedicure, which I declined, and she later offered a facial (which I sorely needed, so after hemming and hawing, I accepted). She was not pushy, but rather guided me based on our conversation.
The facial was wonderful, I haven't been in years so I don't have much to compare it to, but they really put an emphasis on hydration (my dry cracked skin needed it) and I left with a dewy glow! I again received a massage on shoulders, neck and arms. The facial lasted at least an hour... and many hours later, my sensitive skin is feeling very fresh!
Salon is clean, staff is friendly, respectful and kind, parking is easy and they're open on Sundays!! As if that isn't good enough, they also have a rewards program (prices are competitive for the area, but not "cheap" - reflects the quality of the work and the spa).
I'm not sure why they don't have a page yet, maybe this place is Bernardsville's best kept secret? In any case, I've already made my next appointment!

My last two visits to Galaxy Nails were extremely disappointing, and I will not be returning to this salon. Two visits ago the technician made multiple cuticles bleed, and gave me a blood blister by removing too much of a callus.
I made the mistake of going back because they are conveniently located, and sat through a 1 hr 45 min basic mani-pedi, after which the technician turned off the lights and made me leave before my nails were dry. I told her that my nails were not dry, but she ushered me out as 3 nails smudged, and then she had to repaint them. She did not let me dry the newly repainted at all and rolled her eyes when I asked her to open my car door, and then they smudged when I put my seat belt on. I wasted almost 2 hours at this salon and am stuck with 3 smudged nails for a wedding.
Never again!
