DO NOT GO TO NAIL WORLD FOR ACRYLIC NAILS!!!! I went to Nail World for an acrylic nail fill on October 31. I saw an awful nail tech named Ben and paid $38 just for an acrylic fill that was done extremely carelessly and terribly!! When he started to use the electric file on my nails he filed through all the acrylic on my pinky nail. He filed down to my natural nail to the point where it started hurting and I had to pull back. When I pulled my finger back he laughed.
Once he had filed down my old acrylic, he started applying the new acrylic to fill my nails. Once all the nails were filled with new acrylic, he didn’t file down the nails at all to reshape or make the top and sides of my nails smooth. Without smoothing the acrylic down with a file first, he then started putting on the gel polish. Because he had not filed my nails after applying new acrylic, they were EXTREMELY BUMPY. Once he had painted once hand I asked him if there was anything we could do to make them less bumpy. He just clumped the acrylic on my nails and painted over it!!! When I asked him to fix my nails he then used the electric file like he should have done from the very beginning before applying any polish. He did not even fix all my nails!!! He filed down the worst 4 nails and left the rest extremely bumpy. On top of this, he was very aggressive with my hands. This was my first time going to Nail World and I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!! They were extremely rude and inexperienced. I always have acrylic nails on and have gone to probably 15 places near Brunswick and have never written a review before because I had never had such an awful experience. The nail tech I went to, Ben, did my nails carelessly. The acrylic nail fill I received from Nail World is the worst acrylic nails I’ve ever seen!!! When I realized the nail tech took no pride in his work and would not fix all the nails for me I complained at the front desk before paying. The girl at the front desk did not offer to fix my nails, she just said she would tell her manager!! As you can tell from the pictures I attached, there’s also dark spots in the polish. I left with extremely thick, bumpy and uneven nails!! They aren’t even all filed to the same shape! I asked for coffin shape and most of the sides are rounded! And it looks worse in person!

Not impressed. The girl didn't even scrape my feet. Nails are shaped horribly and I was lucky 😂 if I was in the chair for 15 minutes. Really not impressed

This was my first time getting my nails done professionally on my own- I was really excited because they were able to take me in later that day and I was excited to get pampered. When I arrived there wasn't anyone at the desk that I could talk to about what I wanted, and another lady already doing nails took my information and I couldn't explain what I wanted. Later, when I got called for my service, the lady completing my nails had an airport in her ear and was on the phone the entire time; then switched when the one she had in her ear died, and i thought she was talking to me at times but wasn't. Then as she was competing my manicure she pulled out her phone and she was video chatting with a man and had the camera on our hands!!! It was incredibly weird and unprofessional, I was incredibly uncomfortable. The lady also didn't offer me a menu for my pedicure, only asked me if i wanted a basic, when the woman next to me received a menu..I probably would have spent more. I also mentioned that it was my wedding on Friday and I still didn't get offered any other services..I wanted to feel pampered my first time getting my nails done by myself and this really ruined my experience. I'm glad they were able to take me in that day, but it was awkward and as someone who has never been to a nail salon I had no idea what to do. It doesn't reall matter, but I won't be coming back unfortunately.

Didn't have an appointment, but took me in for a fill!! Very nicely staffed, unlike the one in Bath shopping center. They were very nice 👍
