Went to this wonderful place 2 weeks ago for a gel mani pedicure. Loved how helpful the owner was and kind. She has the best hands.

My mother and I came in for a regular mani pedi that was scheduled the day before for 10am. We ended up not leaving the salon until 1pm which was frustrating because we had other things to attend to throughout the day but we didn’t want to be rude. The staff was very kind to us the entire time but I hadn’t been anticipating spending 3 hours of the day in that salon. I also ended up with a dark bruise and scar on one of my fingers from one of the girls removing my cuticles. I don’t know if it was her first time because the girls doing our nails looked very young. I didn't notice the bruise and pain until 2 days after because I was getting my nails done for a wedding so it was a very busy and stressful time. Nonetheless I was very shocked and disappointed that this happened especially after spending so much money. I also believe I was charged an additional $10 due to the fact that when I added up my own calculations as to how much the cost should’ve been ($66+$10 tip=$76) I noticed that I was charged an additional $10. I blame myself for not checking the calculations in advance and trusting the price before leaving. I hate to leave this kind of review because the people inside were nothing but nice to us the entire time but I don’t think I’ll ever be returning.

To start, before I tell you about my not so great experience, my mom saw a small roach-like bug while sitting with her toes under the dryer (I have a picture I will try to post if possible).... but about my experience: I scheduled an appointment for a pedicure for both myself and my mom at 12:00. They started and finished my moms pedicure and left me sitting with my feet soaking until 12:30 (they did not put the water on and I had to ask to soak while I wait). My moms pedicure was completely finished by the time someone came to start mine. Once they finally started on me, my pedicure felt rushed (started by one person and finished by another) because I said I couldn’t wait any longer and wanted to walk out. I should have left before they started, but I didn’t have time to go somewhere else at that point. I had come here in the past, years ago, and had similar problems. I will not be back again, there are much nicer, cleaner, and more efficient salons in the area.
