My husband and I have been coming to Walia for several years. It's 30-40 minutes drive from us, but we make the trek out because both the food and the service is amazing. The only con is that if you come during busy hours (e.g. lunch time on a weekend), you might have to wait a while to be seated, but that's because other people know this place is worth it.

I stop by Walia often and the food is ALWAYS deliclious and the service is outstanding. I discovered this jewel of a restaurant after doing a photo shoot near by. I will be returning soon! :)

Very good Ethiopian food with great service. The food is served on a big injera bread and can be eaten by hands. It can be a lot of fun for kids, if you ask for non-spicy options. The restaurant is small and does not get loud even when it's full. One star short from being perfect as some menu items taste better at Zeni - the other Bay area favorite. But we will be back for the exceptional and fast service.

Great food in a bright environment. Good standards, with optional spiciness. Their platters come with lots of small servings, rather than just a couple. Over all it's quite generous proportions. Lots of varieties in their meats and they have never steered me wrong. My personal favorite is the veggies, of course. Parking is tight but available, and only a couple blocks from the freeway. Friendly staff, tho they sometimes overwork them.

Really liked the Ethiopian cuisine most similar to Indian Cusine . Lamb is so delicious and reasonable pricing . A must go restaurant if you wanna try Ethiopian dishes .
