It’s been a week since I’ve been to this salon. I went in and asked for a clear gel manicure. I showed a woman a picture and she said “this isn’t gel, this is acrylic.” And I simply stated “I know, but can you just make the gel thick like this?” And she nodded and said she could do that. I was escorted to a chair and a younger guy came out, asked to see the picture and started the process. He was very nice and tried to small talk. When he was finished he asked if it looked okay and I asked him if he could do maybe 1-2 more layers. Bc at that point, it looked like a layer of clear nail polish (which I could’ve done myself). So after he finished for the second time. I checked them and they didn’t seem to be getting any better. So I said they were fine and got up to pay. I went to the counter and the woman told me it was going to be $30. Thirty wasted dollars. I didn’t argue, they’ve over charged me for an eyebrow wax before bc they “shaped them”. So I left and was upset bc my nails looked like a cheap paint job, nothing spectacular. Now it’s been 8 days and I don’t do any dirty work (like working in dirt or whatever) my nails are greyish black at the ends. It looks disgusting and it’s never happened to me before. I know that it has to be the polish because I always, always* keep my nails clean. So these folks shouldn’t be expecting my business anymore!

Absolutely love going here! My nails were exactly what I wanted and they were all so friendly!

As a licensed cosmetologist, I know the standards for cleanliness, and this place has it all! They won't try to screw you out of money and they have always been friendly!

I love the ladies at Spa nails. They are so sweet. They do a great job.
