I’ve had great experiences with the staff here. The teachers (Teal and McDaniel) are extremely involved in their students! The support staff, faculty and ASEP ladies were all pleasant faces. They were welcoming and great at addressing concerns in the ASEP. Mrs.Thornton, known by many as Mrs.Ty, is great at lifting you up when you walk in. She has a gift of changing your mood when you walk in tired or overwhelmed from an already tiring day. I feel like the staff I’ve encountered were very interested in the well being of my children and I would recommend HFCE to anyone who wants to know.

I love this school I been there since k-5 it is so much fun there they treat you like family I really going to miss that school so much. so come to this school what are you wating for. your child will be so happy from the morning and the after noon o yeah be in mres.coffman she is the best math teachers you will ever meat if you don't like math she will make you u like math like you will feel proud/amazing/smart.so long tell we meat agian hickory flat~zarriah

The good teacher that was good was Ms.Rochell but she left. And Ms crumbley made fun of my name. Most unprofessional principal

I do not recommend this school. From the office staff to the teaching staff , it leaves so much to be desired.
There is no recess.
No talking during lunch or before school.
If one student misbehaves all the students are punished.
The bus systems is scary to say the least.
The way my daughter’s teacher talks to her class is unprofessional and down right mean at times.
The office and support staff are rude and will bully parents if they think they can get away with it.
Please do your homework if you are moving to this school zone. We just have to get through the year and then hopefully on to better things.

My son has been here since Kindergarten and he's now in the 5th grade this year. I love it and they will be missed after this school year. I do wish there were more after school activities, but the innovation stations and great and his teachers have all been great.
