DON'T GO! I called to find out if they take walkins. The owner said yes if I come now, which I did. I walked in and he said to have a seat for 5 minutes so I went to pick a color. I showed him a picture of a basic sparkle ombre and he said fine, but when I showed it to the nail tech who was going to do it, clearly she didn't look like she knew how to do it. I even mentioned to the owner that she didn't look like she knew how to do it. He came over very annoyed to explain it to her. She seemed to say OK but when it got to the point of doing the ombre she didn't know how to do it. I asked the owner to come over and physically show her how to do it. He seemed very annoyed again and then HE couldn't even do it. My nail tech was very sweet and did a great manicure but wasn't skilled to do the ombre. I ended up just having her put the sparkles over the entire nail, which isn't what I wanted. I was there for TWO HOURS, paid $40 and didn't get what I want! He half-heartedly apologized and I told him next time someone shows you a picture of something, if you don't even know how to do it yourself tell them so they can pick something else! Like another reviewer mentioned, he seemed like I was a burden. I wouldn't go there. Feel bad for the nail techs. I gave her a good tip. It wasn't her fault. I own two companies. I would never have made the person pay full price for something they weren't even happy with. Bad management. 😡

I walked in on a Thursday afternoon before 3PM. The three nail techs (who were with other customers, granted) glanced my way as if I were a burden they were not going to entertain. No one greeted me (isn't that standard when you walk into a business you will patronize?), so I said 'hello' and asked if I could please have a gel manicure and regular pedicure. The gentleman finally rose from his customer and said, "now?" No, tomorrow, I thought. I know they probably have a reservation system, but I was clearly a walk in. Not at all uncommon in nail salons. He said, "give me 20 mins". I didn't have that kind of time, so I said I'd leave and thank you. He said, "sorry" in a way that made me not feel he was sorry at all. I get it that I didn't have a reservation and he was busy, but you don't greet customers? And the look of apathy in each of their faces when I walked in was as if I had asked them to move a mountain after pulling a double shift. Again, I get it, they work hard, but someone could have said hello. My neighbor highly recommends this place, but I won't be going back to try it out. I'm sure they fall over themselves when she shows up with huge smiles, but you won't treat me like a pariah and then get my money. I walked down to Princeton Nails and they said 'hello' as I walked in - before the door was shut. Currently getting my services done here.

I visited Pink Nails after a recommendation from a friend. I was getting married on a Saturday, so I made an appointment for the Thursday before my wedding -- I figured 3 days before would be perfect. When I showed up they wanted to just do a manicure. I explained (as I had on the phone) that I wanted a full set of nails and they informed me that I would have to wait. My appointment was at 9:00 am and I was finally finished a little before noon. I wasn't pleased with the shaping of the nails, but had so much to do in preparation for my wedding day that I figured they would do. Unfortunately, by Friday my nails had already started to lift, and on the morning of my wedding were completely coming off -- I had to have them redone. The salon where I went was shocked that it had only been 2 days since having my nails done and said that I should call and complain. They also felt so badly that they didn't charge me for the new nails. To make things worse, I was charged $80 (not including tip) for the silk wraps and the conversation was borderline offensive. I would not recommend this salon.

I had the best manicure and pedicure at this salon. The salon was very relaxing and it did not seem like a cattle farm. The staff is very polite and nice.
