Worth the drive. The place was clean and inviting. The staff were friendly and welcoming. $20 gets you a basic pedicure, so this is no Coldwater Creek Spa, but was a good value for the cost. I would have gotten the next step up, but they never pushed an up-sale on me. My nails looked nice and my feet weren’t hurt in the process (which was my experience at another place in the area which shall remain nameless at this time). The nail techs were easy to communicate with and explaining what I wanted on my nails was easy and I got exactly what I wanted (no design, but 2 different alternating colors). There were plenty of recent magazines to peruse while lounging, and the two chairs my sister and I were in worked well and were very comfortable (nothing worse than getting in a chair that doesn’t massage the way you wanted). Note I called 2 days before to setup an appointment, but walk-ins are welcome. I live near the river and will gladly drive up north making this my regular go-to pedicure place. UPDATE: I feel obligated to add an update to this post. After this pedicure (about two weeks after) I got an ingrown toe nail. I cannot 100% link this to the pedicure, but the person doing my nails did cut down and to the side of each side of the big toe nails and I suspect this resulted in the ingrown toe nail (I do not get these often and cut my nails straight to avoid this issue). I want to go back to this place but don't know how quite to explain I don't want them to do this when I cannot effectively communicate this past the language barriers that are inherent in nail salons. I'll let you know if I go back.

My nails are uneven, thick, point straight, bumpy and look like a child has done them. They are not nice at all. I broke down when I got home. I can do a better job and only pay $8 and get a kit myself from Wal-Mart.

I Treated my daughter and granddaughter to pedicures today, and both of them had great looking polish. Mine on the other hand was streaked and clumpy so I asked for another coat...which she put on. However, I have to say, even though we don't speak their language - I could totally tell she was being snarky and rude when talking to her coworkers about my request.
