The business seems as if it hardly had a leg to stand on. When I initially went in the internet was down so they weren’t seeing clients. I returned a few day later and was even less impressed with what followed. The students seem to do their best considering what seems to be lack of education from instructors. When the student required assistance/guidance from the teacher, I had to wait almost 20 minutes until she arrived. I watched the teacher as she laughed and joked around with other students, my student seemed incredibly frustrated and apologized profusely. I can’t imagine starting a career that way, especially on a education THEY (students) have to pay for!

DONT GO!!!!I went last week for a hair color. I let the student know ahead of time my hair was thick. This was not the first time I had been there. I had been there at least two times before. She still started. 1/3 of my hair was colored and I was told the cost to finish would be between $60-$70. I was done each time at the regular rate. I complained more then once, the instructor never came to look at my hair. The whole time the color was setting. Finally I was told it would be $45. Which I agreed to pay. Two students ended up putting the color in my hair. Yesterday my hair dresser who cuts my hair cut it and looked at it. There were chunks that where still white underneath the back of my hair. I also let the student know my hair absorbs color so whatever color she used to use a shade lighter. She didn’t do it came out between dark brown to black. When I went to pay they still tried to charge me $60!!!!

I just went thru the most inadequate manicure I have ever experienced. The student assigned to do the work obviously had neither training or experience. She was totally unprepared and un equipped for the job. The blame lands squarely on Vogue College of Cosmetology.
