Today i went to get my hair washed, trimmed and flat iron. I was so nervous.First of all because my hair was a mess. I'm black with 4c texture hair. I didn't think the hair dresser would be able to do my hair. My hair stylist was Ruth. She made me feel very comfortable. I like how i asked her a question and even though she didn't know the answer she called over her instructor to get the answer. The instructor ( didn't get her name) very beautiful with blonde short hair was also very nice and professional. She walked around checking on the students work and giving feed back. I enjoyed my experience. It was very affordable. Only $26 and Ruth did a great job. Will be back.

You can get a decent cut here for cheap but make sure you have a sense of patience. I suspect some students are trying to maximize their hours by taking their time cutting your hair. Yes they are learning but a simple men's haircut shouldn't take 90 minutes. Takes less than 15 at Rooks down the street.

I've been to Beau Monde & Pagans & rate this location higher because I've left there with great haircuts every time. And what's not to love about those hohoursTook a big chance getting it cut in a Pixie cut, at their suggestion & always get complements. Another big plus is not having to drive downtown to park. Excellent teachers to monitor & show how to do the bugaboos like cowlicks, curly sometimes frizzy hair. Nice sideburns too.

Loretta is great! I'm all natural and Loretta took the time with my hair. Excellent service and products floor director was also very helpful with hair products info that was great 👍. Thank you! Highly recommend.

I'm really trying to like this salon/beauty school, because every experience I've had with Kaycee has been absolutely amazing and thorough, but the receptionists have time and time again told me my appointment was never set up or an appointment has to be cancelled. It's ridiculous. Set an appointment. Stick with it. Don't tell me last minute drama bullshit happened. I have a schedule too, guys.
