By far one of the best Turkey mounts I have ever seen! They make stunning displays with beautiful habitat! If you are looking for a top notch taxidermist I would highly recommend Lastella Taxidermy!

One of the worst duck mounts I have received very sloppy job with the wing feathers, excess glue on the bill and face of the duck. I contacted them and they tried to say it was due to pellet wounds which was not the case, the duck was in perfect condition reason being I wanted it mounted. Overall for $250 it was not worth it at all for the low quality mount I received. I hope you do not get a trophy duck ruined as I have.

My kiddo who will be 15 in a few days had me call this place a few months ago to see about an internship so he could learn how to do taxidermy, when I called I spoke with Charlie the owner/operator and he said sure get ahold of him for Winter break from school and they will see what they can do so we called and went out one day during winter break and spent the better part of a day there, my son worked with Charlie who was working on a pheasant that needed alot of work as it was the kids first catch but Charlie was determined to fix this bird up good for this young man, he showed my son how they remove the insides and use forms for the body pieces of the bird to make it look real then sew all the holes in the skin where the pellets went through and then glue some feathers in place so the mount looks lifelike. It looked great when he was finished!! It was an hour away from where we live so I stayed, Charlie's wife who also works there, was working on a deer and being an avid hunter all my life, I was very interested to watch how the pull out the ears to fill with a form so it doesnt rot, she did a great job also as I have dozens of mounted horns with the skin and have had my deer and elk mounted also as any hunter would with a great catch...I really enjoyed the day learning with my son, he will be spending time this summer learning many more tricks of the trade with other game animals!! Charlie and his wife were very nice and even gave my son a deer hide to tan himself and gave him pointers to make it a soft successful hide!!
Great people doing great work!! I would definitely recommend taking your game to be mounted there as their experience shows in their excellent workmanship, they take great pride in their work!! 5 stars for sure, more if there were 6+ stars!!
