REVIEWS

Wish I would of read the reviews before trying this place out. Initially went there to have my gel polish removed. That went fine. But had to tell the lady (she was really nice) about 20 times I did NOT want polish reapplied. Went again for gel & a manicure. The lady filed my finger tips not my actual nails which were uneven. The manicure was pretty much pointless cause the cuticle looked the same even after the manicure. The young girl (who I believe may be the owners daughter) was very sweet but really needs a lesson on gel polish application. She did not cap any of my nails & got gel all over my cuticles resulting in the gel peeling & coming off the next morning. With tip it cost me $46. I paid way to much for a bad job. I recommended my sister as well & I felt like the man that worked there was not very nice to her. He was very brass & impersonable. Definitely will not be going back.

My wife was was recommended by a friend to go here to Kim but she was busy so she sent me to her husband Twan. I asked to wait for her but she said her husband was good as well so I agreed. I sat down at the table and he started filing my nails with a machine. He asked me not to breathe so hard because the dust was going in his face. I didn't think I was breathing hard, but just in case, I kept my head as far as possible from his while he worked. He was filing with a file now and said again 'please stop breathing in my face, I don't like it'. He said this loud enough for the other customers to hear. I still didn't think I was breathing heavily but turned my face anyways to be sure. At this point I was thoroughly embarrassed but he said a third time, 'please stop breathing in my face. The next time you come, I'll have you wear a mask.' This time was also loud enough for others to hear and people were staring. When I checked out he said again he'd get me a mask the next time. He didn't like me breathing on his face. I told him this wasn't practicing good customer service speaking this way to me. I walked out in tears! I will never go there again. I hope others read this and the other negative reviews before deciding to use this salon.

Quick to get you out the door and take your money. The woman who was doing a pedicure on another customer seemed nice, but the man who did my nails was not very personable. I asked for my nails to be shaped and for gel polish. I've never had more horrible looking nails in my entire life. Wide, uneven, crooked, slanted. THE WORST NAILS OF MY LIFE. Luckily I was able to file and shape them after I got home, but for 25 dollars plus tip?? Sooooo not worth it. Don't go there. DO NOT GO THERE!

If possible, I would give a lower score. I visited them last month for a full set, and a polish change on my toes. They charged me 60$... fine, if your gonna use a service, ‘you pay what they say’ is my model... I went back last Tuesday for a fill and polish change on my toes again! (Bad idea) especially since I’d heard had things about them from someone who’s lived in the area for quite sometime. This time the husband did my nails, he was rough and rushy, He said because I hasn’t been in more than a month, he’d have to charge me for a full set!!! I said okay, and if he liked, and it was easier for him he could just do a full set on me! I told them that I was gonna not go with the toe polish change this go around; that for some reason upset him. In a nut shell the next day I lost my pinky nail on my left hand, and since this was the only day I was able to leave work early, I decided to drop in to have it replaced/repaired... The woman told me she was about to close; but it was not even 6pm their hours sign shows 6:30... and there was only 1 women being serviced, and she was just about done... I said awww okay, I’ll try to come back another day... As I proceeded to walk out the door she said to me she would have to charge me if I came back because it was a fill in and not a full set. I said to her you did a full set on me a little more than a month ago, and your husband said he had to charge me for a full set but only did a fill, I don’t understand! Her husband proceeded from the back and said, you go somewhere else, we don’t want you here, you’re too hard to please!!! Get someone else to fix your nails, he was rude and walking into my face as he said these things. My feelings are sooo hurt, and I feel so disregarded and disappointed in these folks. I was very easy to please both visits, and even tipped them, 5$ and 7$ the last. These are by far the rudest, most disrespectfull People, (Asian Nail Techs I’ve ever encountered) it is clear to me now why both times I’ve visited there, there is no one there, there was 1 woman getting serviced each time including today in their salon. I will be sure to spread the word and express my experience with them to others in the Eastlake areas, as someone once did for me! I strongly recommend Nails Only or Nails Laquar in Willoughby, (Where I had pleasant experiences) wish I would have just take the trip to one of those salons, as I have in the past.

K's nails ALWAYS does a great job on my pedicures. And no matter who does the pedicure Kim always puts a great design on my big toes.
