I cannot say enough good things about Jay Andrews. I have been going to Connie for over 10 years now and she is absolutely amazing. Everyone there makes you feel at home from the minute you walk in and the staff is incredibly professional. The stylists are super talented and I love that they always know the latest and greatest trends when it comes to cut and color. I have sent sent several of my friends there over the years and will continue to do so. Job well done Connie and Jay Andrews!!!

Jay Andrews is an amazing salon! You always receive a personalized experience, and Connie (the owner) make sure that if something isn’t right it is corrected without question. I have been going there since the salon opened and I won’t go anywhere else. I have short hair and I am always complimented on my hair style. Best salon in the Triangle area!

Just had my hair done by Rika she did a great job. Paid card like always and then was told I can’t tip on card.. only cash or check. I had no idea!! I feel awful and I was last appointment so they close before I could get cash out. Now I have to go back to tip her. That’s the only thing i would change!

I hate my hair. My first experience with this salon was in May. The stylist was very personable, but disregarded my request to have lowlights put in and my preference against layers in my hair. At this time, I had opted for a honey tone for my blonde highlights, which translated into more of a gold hue. I decided to try again and requested a stylist who is good with curly hair. I liked her from the start, she was very attentive and seemed to understand what I wanted. Because I have dirty blonde hair, I was wanting to get a few lowlights to make the outgrowth less obvious as well as my normal blonde highlights. We both agreed the gold tones needed to be subdued and she said she would put a toner on my hair for “a more natural look” When she took the towel off my head, I knew something was lost in translation, because my hair was no longer blonde. It was an ugly dishwater brown with gray highlights. I told her it was darker than I thought it would be, but tried to stay positive. I hoped maybe I would like it more when I got home and washed it. What I found on inspection was that I had two very different colors of hair. The ugly dishwater mess in the front and top, and the gold on the bottom. I called the salon and they scheduled an appointment to fix it. I was under the impression the same stylist would be doing my hair, but it was someone reading off a sheet about how someone determined my hair should be fixed. I liked this stylist but I was very nervous. I have very fragile fine curly hair. She told me she was instructed to do a “flashlight” which translates into 3 inches of highlights on my part line. So now I have 3 colors in my hair, none of which blend at all with the others. The worst part is the front is still the ugly mousie color everyone hates and goes to the salon to change. I can’t afford to go somewhere else after dropping $200 on this mess, so I guess I’ll be wearing my hair up for the next 6 weeks. I put this review on their Facebook page and suddenly I’m unable to see or post reviews. 🤔
