I walked out nearly crying. Mel totally messed up my hair . I went in for highlights and my appointment was at 10am . I wasn’t seen till 10:45 am . We agreed on a color for the highlights and Mel and another lady got started . I have curly hair and she used the smallest comb possible and she had no idea how to handle my hair . I let her know that I am unhappy with how long I had to wait and she got snippy telling me it’s all the front desks fault . She didn’t speak a word to me the entire 4 !!!! Hours I was there . Once my hair was finally rinsed I couldn’t believe my eyes . Thick orange strands everywhere. I won’t be able to wear my hair down till I get it fixed . She asked me if I like it and I just nodded and went to pay or I would have cried . She didn’t even say goodbye . She just walked off with a nasty attitude. I paid 50 $ plus 15$ tip for the worst hair service I’ve ever received. I used to love going to ogle but I’m not sure I’ll ever return .

Stephanie has work wonders on my face. I meet up weekly with Stephanie A. for my customized facial and I have regained my confidence. She is super detailed and caring! Her massages are also the absolute best!

Friendly desk receptionists, Brianna is a well trained advanced student that gave me a good hair cut, she had skilled supervisor with a pisitive teaching style, the price was a bargain. I made an appointment for a perm next month. And best of all the school is easily accessible to me.

The overall customer service of the salon is acceptable and I have no complaints over the service performed. The instructor was very professional and the student providing my service was knowledgeable and professional. My concern is over the unprofessional front desk employee, Michelle. She doesn't greet you with a smile or even a greeting but rather a blank stare. I say that to say this, when people come into an establishment their first impression is a reflection of the establishment. There are several salons to choose from and though the prices at Ogle maybe more affordable you should not compromise customer service. Upon arrival, I was asked to sign in. I completed all the questions as requested and service was performed. During time of check out, I presented my coupon. Michelle immediately raised her voice stating "you need to present this when you sign in"!! I apologized and explained this was my first visit and I was unaware of the policy because there was no notice nor did she request the coupon when I signed in. I also kindly requested she refer to the sign in sheet where I noted a coupon would be presented. She immediately began a hostile attack directed at the student. I felt very uncomfortable and rather than argue with Michelle or continue to hear her I paid the full amount due. I was skeptical over having services performed at a school. My visit to the salon was a personal favor to the student who is required to have weekly client counts. If you continue to allow the bad behaviors your students will suffer. Michelle needs additional training on handling difficult situations. There is no reason why a student should be disrespected in front of a customer. I will not return to the salon nor do I recommend the salon due to the poor customer service.

The hair stylist Janell Johnson is awesome. Very professional, warm welcoming and very knowledgeable about her craft. I would give her a million stars if I could. The overall customer service of the salon is ok the instructor was very professional but I will say that the initial walk in welcome is not so warm. The receptionist was very dry and by dry I mean I didn't feel welcomed when I arrived. I wasn't greeted with a smile but a blank stare and a bit of a passive attitude. I say that to say this when people come into an establishment their first point of contact is very important because this gives them an idea of how their experience is going to be. There are a ton of salons and though the prices maybe cheaper a customer will spend money where they feel they are welcomed :)
