I wanted to reach out and share with you my recent experience at Body Spa. If you are looking for top-notch hair styling services, I highly recommend visiting this establishment. In particular, I had the pleasure of meeting Anthony, who exceeded all my expectations when it came to my hair care needs. His expertise and attention to detail truly impressed me, and I left feeling rejuvenated and confident in my new look. I believe that self-care is essential, and treating yourself to a professional hair styling experience can make all the difference in how you look and feel. Whether you are looking for a new haircut, color treatment, or styling, Anthony is the person to see at Body Spa. His passion for his craft and dedication to customer satisfaction are unmatched. I trust that you will have a similarly positive experience and leave Body Spa feeling pampered and satisfied. Don't hesitate to book an appointment with Anthony for your next hair care session – you won't be disappointed. Thank you for taking the time to read my recommendation. I look forward to hearing about your own experience at Body Spa with Anthony.

I Had Andrea S. (Barbie). It was her first time doing re-twist on my two strand twist for locs. I am amazed on her work as she was very patient and attentive on working with my hair type. Her energy and service that she provided was unmatched for how comfortable she was able to make me feel due to me being tender headed. For her first re-twist and loc styling she did an excellent job. Word of advice is to always book for a couple of hours as you have to account for the wash and drying of your hair between twist. Will most definitely be back for a re-twist in a month.

I’ve been renting here over 2 years plus. The Establishment is safe, clean, helpful staff and freedom. I would highly recommend my family and friends to this place!! The owner/ managers are extremely helpful to your need. I will work until they fire me!! You all need to come and check this place out!!! I’ll give them 5 stars plus

This review is specifically about Body Spa West. It is NOT about my hair stylist. As still a newbie (2nd time), I found the place disconcerting. Let me set the scene: Walk in. See a low curved bar counter with low bench chairs. Refrigerators units along the back wall of the bar area with basic selections of bottled drinks. Between those and the bar are cabinets(?) tables/cubes(?) (don't recall), displaying hair products and a sign listing the drink choices and their prices. Not an employee in sight, only stylists at a few stations doing their jobs. What do I do? Oh, look! A giant iPad-like electronic sign that says to check-in with your stylist. (Don't remember that from my first visit 4 months before as their were people behind the bar who helped me-- because that's why I thought they we're there but I think I was wrong).Touch the screen and everybody is listed in alphabetical order by first name. I find my stylist and touch the check in button next to her name. It changes color, then nothing. So I touch my stylist's name. It changes back to the starting color. Try it again. Success! I get a message that my stylist was notified and should with me shortly. Well, 10 minutes past my appt time, I receive a text from my stylist asking if I was still coming. Yes, I replied, I'm waiting at the bar. So obviously the system didn't work that time. She comes right out to get me. She tests the giant check in iPad and, sure enough, she gets a notification on her phone right away. Technology. Whaddaya gonna do. She explains, in the future, just come to her station and points out a couple chairs where I can wait. Okay fine. I can do that. But where was someone who could explain their system or direct me or just simply help? The place is huge! The place has God-only-knows how many stylists and technicians over a couple floors and 60,000 square feet of space (overheard someone mention that factoid). I know everyone there works for themselves and rents their stations, and I guess it's fine for the clientele who've been there a few times and learned what's expected of them but until then, I think many would feel as I did--like a fish out of water--wondering where to go, where to wait, and should you be wandering around while women leave their purses unattended at their stylist's stations while getting their hair washed. And what about serving those bottled drinks? Is it on the honor system? Or should a customer walk around the place looking for someone to serve them and take their money, or just shout out "hey! Can't a girl get a drink around here?" Not that I actually wanted a drink, but what if I had? I dunno. Maybe I'm just old and have certain expectations but just leaving the clientele to guess just seems wrong to me. Especially if their technology isn't reliable. On the other hand, I love my stylist (who gets 5 stars). So now that I was told what I should do in the future, I've jumped back into the fishbowl of water, will ignore the stupid giant iPad, and hope that other new clientele have a better first (or second) impression.
