Everybody there is super talented and i love how my nails look after getting them done there. They also make you feel super comfortable there, however i was told i would receive a call from someone in charge of appointments to see if i could be fit in for one and didn't receive the call. This is a day after i spent all day calling the shop and no one answered, from morning till evening resulting in me having to roll up on them and ask what happened.

The only reason I am giving them two stars is because my nail tech was super sweet, very kind and she did bring my nails back from the dead. I was super excited to visit JunieBee. I absolutely adore Teyana and when I found out about the nail salon I had to go check it out. When I tried to book my appointment the first time their phones were not working. Then on the day of my appointment I was running 15 minutes late due to the subway I wanted to call them but again their phones were not working. I arrived I was greeted very nicely by every tech in the shop but the place was a complete mess! They said they were doing inventory. I have never been to any nail salon where they are doing a massive inventory in the middle of the day. Usually that happens during closing hours. Even though I had an appointment at 1pm no one was ready for me. Because of inventory she had to clear off and organize her station. She did do a good job on my nails!!! I had gotten a fill from a random salon around the corner and they did an awful job. She really did shape them the way I like them. However it took three and a half hours for her to do a fill, reshape and gel polish. I have never been in a nail salon that long! Our conversation was really good though and she was very friendly. This is what really made me upset. I had went online to check prices and I was really thrilled that everything was reasonably priced BUT apparently that day they had increased prices. None of the nail techs even knew what the prices were. All prices were hand written on three large posters. I only wanted to get Matte polish done. The poster said “Matte polish $6 per finger.” That would have been an extra $60 just for a top coat. I asked my tech about it and she said that can not be right. She then had to ask other person. After discussing it quietly she returned and told me $12 extra. I didn’t agree but whatever I wanted Matte. Then I am assuming the manager came in and the Matte coat was brought up to her. They had a whole meeting in front of me to discuss this Matte polish. The end result was $15 extra. For a top coat! Then the manager said all pricing was approved my upper management yet you guys just had an impromptu meeting about Matte polish. If it wasn’t up for debate then why have that meeting? If everything was approved and can’t be changed.... There should have been a meeting with all techs to discuss prices and do inventory when the shop is closed. I go to get my nails done for some peace and serenity. Some adult time. Not to be surrounded by drama! It was all very unprofessional!

This nail salon is constantly striving for perfection. I've been three times and have seen tremendous progress and growth. The wait time for my appointments have decreased drastically. The staff (Face & King) are very personable! The quality of work Face does is undeniable. Her attention to detail. Phenomenal work and pleasant attitude is sure to keep customers flocking to Junie bee nails. Keep up the good work. Blessings

So the last week I’ve been calling to make an appointment to get my nails done and nobody is answering calls or emails. Being that I reside from Brooklyn I wanted to be sure I had a set appointment and not take the chance of commuting to Harlem and I couldn’t get it done. Others been experiencing the same issue cause I’m seeing other girls writing the same thing on their Instagram page. Nobody took to time to address any issue or even respond back to inquiries but has the time to put up posts. Needless to say that’s unprofessional and I will be taking my money elsewhere. I found out about a black owned nail salon in Brooklyn. I made an appointment with the nail boutique that has two locations in Brooklyn. They are very professional and answers the phone and go out their way to accommodate you. And the work speaks for itself. I’m disappointed in the lack of regard and wonders who running this place because I thought it was very rude to disregard a customers inquires and acting as if they don’t know the phone is offline. Actions speak louder than words.

Go see Stylz! She is so sweet and makes sure you are happy before finishing. Loved every minute spent there. Can't wait for my next appointment!
