I was the first appt of the day for a simple pedi. There were no other customers waiting and i was out ou f there in 30 minutes. She didn't do a great job of cleaning the dry skin or calluses. Wasn't real happy to go home and finish her job.

My friend & I came in for shellac manicures. The owner mentioned no wait & advised me very tersely to sit down to have my nails wrapped. He wraps my nails, all the while not paying attention to what he was doing but rather was preoccupied watching his other employees work. This resulted in him accidentally flinging a drop of acetone onto my cheek (almost into my eye) when he tore the soaked cotton to put on my nail. I assumed somebody would begin working on mine within 10 minutes or so (since he had already wrapped my nails). He begins on my friend. she tells him she would like a shellac manicure. He replies "You don't need a manicure, you have no cuticle." It became clear his objective was to get you in & out as quickly as possible. He gave her a pretty dodgy shellac job (it's hard to do quality work when you're watching all of your other employees & obsessing over who can take the next customer the quickest). A lady behind me who was clearly a regular became vocal & said "I've had these wraps on for 35 minutes - I never have to wait this long when I come here & you've taken people back who've walked in after me!" So he leaves my friend in the middle of her shellac to go work on the regular's nails. After a few minutes, a woman comes over to finish my friend's nails. Once done, my friend takes them out from under the lights briefly to show me (we both noticed they did not look very good with shellac polish on her skin/nail-bed), & the lady very rudely snaps at my friend to keep her nails in the lights longer. At this point I have been in the acetone wraps for about 25 minutes. I could feel my skin around my nails burning, & I told them I have to take them off now because intuition & pain were telling me this was not normal. I remove the wraps to see my skin has begun breaking down & is almost bleeding on two of my nails. The owner asks why I took them off & I told him it was really hurting to have acetone wraps on that long. He begins to work on my nails & I told him I wanted a shellac manicure. He gave me the same comment as my friend - "You don't need a manicure, you have no cuticles." By this point I'm severely regretting walking in. I told him never mind, just please take my shellac off & I'll be on my way. After about a minute of him trying to get me to have the shellac put back on at their salon, I was adamant but kind in saying "No thank you, please just continue with the shellac removal & we'll get going." He sends the same employee over who was rude to my friend. She said "I'll paint your nails very quickly" to which I again said multiple times that I no longer wanted any more services & just wanted to leave. She aggressively scrapes my shellac off & very painfully scrapes a big chunk of my thumb nail off. She barely buffs them down & very rudely says "Go wash your hands." That is the end of our exchange. My friend & I are blown away at how weirdly rude & unprofessional of an experience this has been & so we're happy to pay & leave. Their pricing board says "Shellac Soak Off: $5-$10" & I'm thinking "Oh well, I've only lost $5 on this terrible experience, I'll cut my losses and go." So you can imagine my SHOCK when the owner tells me it's $10. HOW could a soak off that resulted in burned & broken skin & a chunk of my nail missing cost the full $10!? I brought this up to him & he did not budge. He told me that since they had to scrape the shellac off meant it was more work and that's why it's $10 & not $5. This is BS - nail salons ALWAYS scrape the shellac off after it's been soaked, that's HOW it's removed. Then he then tells me it's because I took the wraps off, to which I said I had to otherwise I would've had severe skin breakdown. He did not care & was firm in charging me $10. I reluctantly paid & told him he'd have an honest review written about his nail salon. Again, didn't budge on the charge or show any sort of concern. There are PLENTY of fantastic small nail salons that would love your business and won't treat you as just a profit.

Been multiple times. Great people, great place (newly renovated!) and great manicure. I will continue to go here. Their shellac/gel manicure lasts a really long time - I end up having to take it off just bc my nails have gotten too long!

Horrible place... rude and rush you through like cattle. Filing too much and too hot on nail bed. Would not recommend.
