I followed my nail tech here from another shop. Though I loved my nail tech, I hated the atmosphere of this place and I was extremely glad when he left. When walking through door, the owners never greeted me or other African American patrons. Often times when I would call, they would lie and say my nail tech was booked they were jealous of him having lots of business. They were extremely unsanitary and would not clean the tools because the UV light was broken did not want to pay to fix it. I was so happy when my nail tech left and am glad he is at a better shop that has better polish, friendly, serves wine, extremely clean, and conveniently located. If you’re looking for my tech, jack, he is at Divine Nails on Western Ave!!!!

I like this place because it is quite and not uptight, I generally get a pedi but this past week I wanted my nails done, I have had better customer service but for the price the service was great. Might just need to work on your customer service skills.

I am disappointed in this salon. I have been to several different nail salons in Knoxville and they have been okay but the quality eventually went down. I eventually started doing my own gel nails at home. After a few weeks of doing that, I wanted to go get them done because I was too tired to do my own. I tried Diamond Nails because it is very close to my house and I had never been there. When I went in, I had an open mind, thinking “how bad can it be?” First of all, they had a very slim selection of colors but it was fine. I found one that I wanted and took it to the table. The man who did my “manicure” did not say more than 5 words to me. I chose a light color which requires a few coats since it’s light...well needless to say, I have spots where you can see through the polish. My manicure consisted of him pushing back my cuticles and filing my nails into no particular shape. I also got glitter on my ring fingernails and you can see straight through that as well. I had to stand and wait for him to tell me where to pay while he played with his phone and when we got up to the desk, he stood there and read a piece of paper. I then asked how much, he told me $20, I handed it to him along with a small (way too generous) tip, and he said “thanks, appreciate it.” There was no customer service skill whatsoever. They didn’t tell me to have a good day, ask how it was, or anything. I will not be returning to this salon. I guess I’ll just have to practice getting better with doing it myself. Good thing I didn’t lose more than $20.

I enjoyed my visit. I got a manicure and pedicure today!! The man that did my nails was not very talkative, but did he's job. I was satisfied!!
