Amount you spend had to be at or right below $5 to use a card for payment. I don't carry loose cash on me. Won't be visiting here again, because there's no signage that tells customers that before they wait in a long line.

I've lived in the neighborhood since I was 11. I've been coming to this beauty supply for years only because they have a certain braiding hair that I use that no one else has, but the owner and the workers are very rude. The store is always messy. If the workers took the time to tidy up the store instead of following customers it would look more presentable.

The owner is not a friendly person and does not know how to speak to customers who patronize him in a kind manner AT ALL.
I have patronized this business for years because they have items that you cannot find elsewhere however, the owner (the older guy) is outright RUDE.
This is the second time over the years where he has displayed this behavior once asking me if the hair in my head was “my” real in hair in effort to ask why beauty supply hair bundles no longer sell as well (obviously because of the internet and better grades of hair bundles).
More recently, I asked about possibly exchanging 1 of 3 items I purchased 2 days ago, he takes my bag and looks inside and instead of kindly saying “no. unfortunately...” his response was “oh heck no.”
Nothing was wrong with the item as it wasn’t used however, a simple “no we can’t return this because xyz” would’ve sufficed instead of an “oh heck no,” and I could respect that.
I really like the items available here but his attitude and non-customer friendly aura makes it hard to want to continue to patronize this establishment.

Not open at 8am on Saturdays like they say they are. Smh I hate business that lie about time.
