I love going to the Cutting Crew! Molly does an amazing job with my color. It always looks natural. Recently, Krystal did my hair for a wedding and that also looked great! The pictures turned out wonderful and my hair stayed in place despite a long night of dancing. Thank you ladies!

I absolutely would not recommend Cutting Crew. I had a trial appointment here for my wedding hairstyle, and I am so glad that I did - because then I knew to have my hair styled elsewhere!!! My style, a classic, curly updo, had fuzzy pieces and straight ends sticking out - not the elegant look that I had described (and I had even brought pictures!). Furthermore, my hair was put up in under 30 minutes, which is ridiculous considering I have very long, thick hair that requires much more time to be styled properly. After stewing over this situation, I finally decided that I couldn't risk a sloppy style on my wedding day, and got an appointment elsewhere. However, due to the limited number of hair salons in Yankton, my bridesmaids still had to go to Cutting Crew. It was a complete disaster. Though they said that the wedding party that left as they exited looked perfect, their hairstyles were, again, not at all like they had requested. In fact, they were done so hastily that bobby pins were literally falling out just minutes after they exited the salon! Thank goodness my hairstylist was able to squeeze them in to fix the curls and to secure their updos! The staff at Cutting Crew needs some more practice with formal updos, as well as greater attention to detail. I hope no more bridal parties or prom attendees have such a negative experience.
