I was visiting someone in derby and needed to get nails done quickly. Stopped in and was taken care of right away! Wanted chrome nails again, the set I had was beginning to chip, sadly no chrome. However, I got something awesomely better, foil. The effect was beautiful, and watching the application was fun!! Highly recommend and will be back again for sure!!!

Emily does a great job and always does exactly what I want. I show her a picture and she can do it. The owner Jenny is so nice and doesn’t forget a name or face!

I really don’t like leaving less than 4 star reviews however I feel I need to in this case. I thought I’d try out a new salon since I have never tried this one. This was my first visit to this salon and overall everyone seemed nice, but I did feel like they kept adding charges for this and that. For example, after I’d chosen my pedicure I was told I needed a callus treatment that was $5 more! I’d already chosen a deluxe pedicure for $40 shouldn’t that be part of that? Also, I had selected a cat eye polish for my nails when I first arrived and selected from a basket that had dip and gel examples in it - nothing was said about it being an extra $5 for cat eye at that time. Isn’t cat eye or magnet a type of polish anyway? They didn’t tell me it was $5 more until I was paying, at first she said $95 for my total cost then a lady said something to her behind me and then she said $100 because cat eye is $5 more. I also was charged for soaking off my dip polish on my hands, and I think they charged for my feet too but that was regular polish. I felt I was being taken advantage of for being new. I won’t return because of this deception. Also the lady who did my nails didn’t even finish with a massage or even any lotion! She just dabbed some oil on my cuticles and said you’re done! My nails are also thick as she used dip for a base and then layers of gel polish and cat eye polish. Maybe she was up charging for the extra layers? I didn’t ask for the dip base either, but she just went ahead with it. She also nipped my cuticle area with the dremel and never even trimmed my cuticles but just blasted them off with the tool. I may look young and stupid but I’m actually 50 - been around half a century and this was ridiculous. I know a lot of people will read my review and say $100 is cheap for a pedicure and a manicure, but not when I’m used to paying way less for the same thing somewhere else. I feel they need to be more transparent with their pricing and not try to take advantage. I still tipped 20% even after all of that which means I paid $120.

I went in for a “birthday pedicure”. Jenny’s mom did a great job. She weathered thru all my cracks & calluses and made my feet feel brand new! All the staff were polite & helpful, and it was very clean. Thank you “Jenny’s Mom”!

I am Updating my review. I went to this salon 5 times. Each time service got worse and worse. They do nothing but talk in their language. Which is fine, but when a customer leaves and calls right away to complain about the stuff they were saying about her. They were surprised when she could understand what they were saying. After the phone call it was the topic of discussion with employees and customers!! Anyways here it goes I wish they had music playing or something. I also feel the prices are not consistent and don’t match their price list, the prices are on point but I just never know what to expect price wise. Last time I went in I was told 15 minutes. I waited no one came in at all and the owner looked at me and said “you should just go. It’s going to be a long time”. That was my last straw. The nails look great for a few days then they don’t. I feel they use cheap products. Also the salon is small and it’s messy.
