I recently went to Fox River Spa in Algonquin and saw Justin. What a great experience!! He is so talented at what he does and he explains everything really well. I've had chronic lower back and hip pain for many years. I was very hesitant to even try a massage on my back because even laying on my stomach is painful. But I decided to take a chance since I read that Justin had special training in that area and I'm so glad I did!! He did some serious work on my back and got to the root of the problem. He really knows what he's doing and is truly dedicated to making people feel better. He's totally professional but at the same time, he's so personable that I immediately felt relaxed, like I was just hanging out with a friend. I feel so lucky to have found him and I will definitely be back.

I want to start by saying I have had many massages at a number of different places, all over the country, including larger franchised spas. Since I recently moved into the area I was a first time client, coming in only because I drove by and liked the presentation of the business (Algonquin location). I was welcomed warmly and felt at ease almost immediately after entering the relaxation room. I was then greeted by Justin who took care of my massage and aftercare. I was extremely impressed not only with his ability but also with his consideration for my specific needs and tone. He was very knowledgable and professional. I will absolutely be returning. I believe this to be one of my best spa experiences to date.

This review is long overdue - Susie L did a great job on my hair and brows most recently but I've been getting my haircut by her for a while now. So glad she's at Fox River Spa and Salon - what a great facility and I'm looking forward to exploring more of their services in the near future!

I went here with my mom for what we thought was a reflexology pedicure. The ladies working there were very nice but not very professional. Not only were they talking about there weekend getting drunk and being hung over, they also did not perform what we paid for. There was no reflexology performed on our feet in which it was priced at $70 dollar, $40 more than a regular pedicure. Not only did they not hit all the pressure points, they hit no pressure points resulting in a very short and weak foot massage. I'm not one to ever write a review, although I would hate for someone to go there with high expectations on their low maintenance performance.

All of my experiences at Fox Vally Spa have been great. Today was no exception! Susie did a wonderful job helping my soon-to-be middle schooler get a new look and learn tricks to go from casual to stylish. It’s the first time I’ve ever seen a haircut look exactly like a picture! Thanks, Susie!
