I stumbled upon Nelson J Salon and have found my forever spot. Bobby and Nelson were so wonderful and helpful. I’ve never loved my hair more. And for the price you get a hell of a deal! I will be back as soon as I need my next cut and color!

My first time coming to Nelson J Salon, and I was greeted by Nelson, taken to the back to change, consult about my hair, and was offered a refreshment. Everyone was very friendly, the location is great, atmosphere is modern, artsy, and professional. I spent 5 hours with my stylist, and the time flew by because it was fun being there. I already scheduled my next appointment and am looking forward to going back :) Thank you!!

Nathan is the BEST!!! He is the #1 person to see if you want to go blonde!! Go see him if you want your hair to literally be flawless. Nelson J salon is the place to get your hair done in LA. They have awesome service & are exceptional hair artists.

I worked for Nelson for a week and I found out I had to move out of state so I asked for my check to be mailed to me.. he said okay. 2 weeks later nothing. I asked for an update.. he we moved (they lost it) and he will reissue the check.. I then wait 19 more days and still nothing. I write them and get attacked and threated by their receptionist Billy and Nelson decides to Paypal me the money because they can't find my check.. so I still am not sure my hours or if I am receiving the correct amount but Nelson instead of sending me the amount he quoted me working he gives me less.. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. You can NOT mess with peoples money! I do not like that I do not have proof of my hours and they my check twice. just not okay.

Nathan is absolutely amazing !!! Best colorist in Los Angeles. My hair is ethnic and dark, breaks very easily. We went from Dark to perfect blonde and best part is.. I have people asking me if this is my natural color. Amazing transformation.
