Previously got a wonderful hair color. It took hours. I returned two weeks later for a body spiral perm. Ive had cosmotology schooling myself so when I noticed that they were rolling it wrong i told them. I also have a good head of hair and i recall the students talking amongst the two of the stating the i structor told them to stretch one bottle of solution to cover 144 rollers. Then I was informed that they were out of cotton that's used to wrap the rollers before putting on the solution. Instead they used rolled up paper towels and I received chemical burns on my forehead and face . When I first saw it was like i had white girl dred locks. No curl no body. They didn't even pick it out. It was so tangled from being rolled wrong. NEVER AGAIN

This review is being left by a former student that attended this school for 6+ months. *This is my experience for potential students* Attending this establishment was not a pleasent experience. It is run by a married couple. The husband handles the administrative side and the wife serves as the head instructor. She often made the work environment hostile by openly, loudly, and publicly berating the students. I personally witnessed her: - Attack a student about her attendance(in front of the student body) during a lesson -Attack a students dress attire(in front of the student body) during a lesson -Yell at a student in her office(loud enough to be heard through the office door while using obscenities) -Refuse to help students on the salon floor by going into her office and closing the door (illegal ALL work MUST be supervised) -She literally told me I was not allowed to ask her questions but became physically bothered and verbally abusive (infront of salon customers and the student body) when I asked the other instructor for help -Verbally attack me for asking a student with help studying after she (the instructor) refused to help because "I should not need help" (verbatim) When the occurances were brought to the administrator he refused to help. Stating "arent we all petty sometimes" (verbatim), "I should just let it go" (verbatim), "I should just avoid her and stay to myself" (verbatim). I was kicked out of the school and not given a legitimate reason for the expulsion after they were paid $12,000. I was told: 1.) That I embarrassed the instructor (but not told how) 2.)That I would not be employable in the area (as an African American) and it would make the school look bad 3.) Because the instructor did not like me While attending I suffered a miscarriage due to the stress of her berating and yelling at me daily (mind you I have two healthy and thriving children and have never had any complications) In short, attending this establishment is extremely stressful and is like walking on eggshells. The chain of command is completely ineffective since they are a married couple. This was my experience. I encourage any potential students to research this establishment before entering into any agreement or handing over your financial aid. Seek out former students to get an accurate overview of this school! Edited to add: The chain of command is completely ineffective since they are a married couple
