Came here as a walk in to get a pedicure and the guy did a great job. The chairs were comfy with the ability to customize the massage settings. Would def come here again!

I originally went to Future Nails to get Acrylics for the first time. My appointment was set for 12pm on a Sunday. The techs were taking walk-ins before me (the customers even stated they were walk-ins), and I didn't get taken care of until 1:40. The overall nail application was quick, painless, and looked good! I continued to get those filled over the next 2 months or so, until I decided that I no longer wanted long, fancy nails and just wanted my plain nails with a little polish... which is where my 2 star review comes in. The woman who took off my acrylics did NOT soak my nails at all in acetone. It was my first time with acrylics, and therefore also my first time getting them removed, so I had no idea what to expect. Instead, she filed off the polish, clipped the nails, and then started hacking away at the acrylics with the clippers, ripping off layers and layers of my nail bed. She took out an acrylic nail tip from her little box, and started sliding it between the natural nail and the enhancement, again, ripping away at the cells. It was like nails on a chalk board (pun not intended). I was visibly in pain, and made a couple comments like, "wow, those must be pretty stubborn..." to which she smiled and didn't respond. It took about 30 minutes, and my nails came out fragile, damaged, and weak. I needed a gel polish over the nail just to keep them strong enough as to not break, so during the gel application process, she had to file the nail itself which of course caused the kind of pain you wouldn't expect to apply some nail polish. On top of this all, the polish that was applied was not a soak-off (not that I knew that ahead of time; I was handed a box of "new" colors without being told they're not soak-off). So when I switched salons, my damaged and frail finger nails had to be filed AGAIN since the gel could not come off with acetone. This time, however, my new salon took great care of my nail beds, and took the extra time to not hurt me more. The younger girl there has no filter in regards to her opinions, and will say whatever is in her head, including commenting on the lipstick color I'm wearing, and the fact that she doesn't like the way acrylic nails look (as I'm getting them filled). I have not had other experiences with Future Nails. They were good while it lasted, but care of the nails is apparently not in the books.

***update: I will give three stars because the owners reached out and tried to correct the situation. Unfortunately, I live 2.5hrs away so I will not be able to take the offer to fix it up (and my nails need to HEAL). I usually love this place (I travel from Green Bay!) but I just left and my nails have never looked worse. I can in with exactly what I wanted. French tip and clear nail in dip. The lady pressured me to try light pink and said it would just be a test. I tried it and hated it so I told her “ please just to clear. She did one coat of pink and the rest clear and said it would look better. I know have this awkward two tone along with 4mm thick nails with lint and dust and bubbles in between the layers. My thumb is bleeding from her filing. She pulled out the gel lamp light at the end to do a top coat? If I wanted gel, I would’ve gotten gel. I do dip because it it the healthier option and the lamp is not good for your skin. She just had no idea what she was doing. It is just all awful. I will find another place. Very disappointed that I have to go home and immediately take it off. $45 down the drain
