On June 11th, 2018, at 5:00pm EST, I visited Spicy Nails in Richmond West to get an Acrylic set. Before going, I had called nearly 3 hours in advance to confirm prompt availability upon arrival. An hour after my scheduled appointment with one of the few nail technicians available, I managed to receive service. By that time, it was approximately 7:00pm. Not only was I told that I’d be serviced at 6:00pm with no wait, I was also told that the process wouldn’t be rushed considering the closing hours; this was not the case. The nail technician completely disregarded my health as she ripped off my old acrylic nails, ignoring my plead to exercise a less painful, more time-consuming method. On account of that, my nails were bruised and bleeding by the end of service. She then proceed to rush the process of attaching the new nails and left dirt under my finger nails, which she trapped with acrylic fill. She did notice this and tried to cover it with polish, but it was prominent through the translucent pink I had chosen. This is where we had a disagreement. I patiently instructed her to shave under my nail with the electric filing tool. She then began to yell in Vietnamese and that’s when I asked her if there was a problem. Because of my simple request she proceeded to antagonize me verbally and have an associate of hers attempt to intimidate me into settling for a rushed nail service I would later pay 57 USD for. As a result of this, she proceeded to verbally insult me and started clipping off the fresh set with no regard for my wellbeing. This is when I had had enough and decided that I would leave immediately and take them off at home. Seeing this, she forcefully grabbed me by the left hand and pulled me and apologized while tightly gripping my hand. I felt nervous and scared and just wanted to go, but she had forced me to sit down. For the rest of the time she yelled in Vietnamese and got hair in my nails. She knowingly painted over it. As I left she verbally insulted me and shut the door on my back. DONT GO HERE, YOU WILL BE TREATED HORRIBLY ON ACCOUNT ON THEIR FRUSTRATION, NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES YOU APOLOGIZE FOR SOMETHING THAT ISNT YOUR FAULT.

Really had a terrible experience here. Stay away. First the place was just really unsanitary. The tables were still dirty from the previous customer. Customer service was horrendous. The lacked the Common courtesy to help you with your belongings while your nails dried. My manicure was not even well done. I still had polish on my skin around the nails that wasn’t even wiped off. They also broke my skin on my heel when they were buffing. Just all around terrible. If I could give it no stars I would.

Everyone was friendly and my gel manicure came out amazing. I also did my eyebrows and the girl shaped them so perfectly. I can honestly say every time I go I leave happy.

SUPER RUDE. I walked in and an employee was arguing with a client and making rude and racist comments. The place itself is filthy, the employees have very nasty attitudes, took forever to have someone attend me and even when I sat down, the woman got up to attend someone else. Messed up my nails.
