Giving 1 star because the customer service I witnessed here today was ridiculous. Isn’t the customer is supposed to always be right? Well not at at this place. I have never seen in my life such bad behavior from a business owner. After being a loyal customer of 6 years I will no longer be a customer of this place anymore. I brought my sister and close friend of mine with me to get our nails done today. My friend just wanted a simple pedicure that required gel removal from a previous nail job. Once they started the gel removal they didn't let it soak long enough for the gel to fully come off. They then tried scraping over and over until the worker gave up leaving residue of gel polish on the nails and tried to complete the rest of the steps of the pedicure. Mind you, the gel residue was still on nails. A second attempt to get polish off was made but still not completed. My friend started to get upset because they wanted to just paint over the gel residue and get her out of there as soon as possible. So she told the worker to stop before they went any further with the pedicure and Lee comes up to her and tries to charge her $19 for a job that wasn't even done - no polish on her feet and uneven toenails. A normal pedicure is $15 he said gel polish to remove it is an additional $4. My friend said that she was not happy at all and felt she shouldn't have to pay for something that wasn't complete. She tried giving $10 due to the fact they hadn't even painted her nails yet. Lee cursed her out and called the police on her over $9 she didn't give him. When the police arrived she offered to pay $15 and that still wasn't good enough for him. He still wanted the $4 for an incomplete and horrible gel removal. This was the worst customer service I've ever witnessed and it made my stomach churn. People go to a nail salon to have a peaceful and relaxing time unfortunately this was the exact opposite of what was recieved today. The 111 precinct also thought that he was being unreasonable and unprofessional. Customers beware!!!!

If I could put zero stars, I definitely would. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. I decided to get a pedicure, the owner had a girl do them, I told her I had a gel pedicure and it had to be removed so she started the process. While we were doing it, I notice that the gel from my toes were only half way off and I told the same girl that they were only half done, she tried again. After the second time of her doing it, it still wasn’t off. Through the service, I noticed that she was rushing all the way. I started to get upset and mid-pedicure, I told the girl to stop. So we stopped. The owner, Lee came over to me and wanted to charge me for the full pedicure and gel removal. I told him I wasn’t satisfied and was willing to pay for at least half of the work because I didn’t feel right leaving without giving something. Then Lee decided to start getting rude and cursed at me because I was upset and didn’t want to pay full price. So by this time, he offered to fix them and I agreed but then he cursed at me so I said no because he had another worker already on the phone with the police. Once the police came in, he started to switch the story up and had the worker that called the cops defending him, she also was arguing with me while the cops were already there. Unfortunately, I still had to pay full price for a service that was not finished because of the fact that I didn’t want to get arrested over a pedicure. Lee was super disrespectful even in front of the police, laughing in my face after I paid. I feel that this type of customer service is unacceptable especially because I also work in services. If I had a person upset with the job that was done, I'd find a way to accommodate them just to make sure they are at least a little bit satisfied with the service. If you are going to have someone work for you, make sure they know what they’re doing!!!!

Love it here. Sophia does an amazing pedicure and Lee is a true genius at any nail especially acrylic, powder. I especially love they use sterilized instruments. My ombre came out amazing.

The lady who did my nails, did a very nice job. This was last Friday, August 24th. The young woman who did my pedicure, well I don't blame her, she was looking to be distracted. And my feet are hypersensitive. I tried to explain to her several different times in several different ways, as she wasn't getting it. Oh, by the way, all the polishes she handed he to choose from, there was nowhere to put them, & she wasn't taking them back, so the next client on the next pedicure station, that manicurist had to take care of them. So she was holding my feet wrong the entire time. I know, not only because I've had pedicures many places in the US, but because it hurt, felt like it was getting nothing accomplished, & I've have studied manicuring in school, & to top it all off that night in bed the entire bottoms of my feet were catching on the covers. Anyway, I've gone back every day, & talked to the owner. Once at closing time, as I didn't know their hours. Once a half hour earlier, once a half hour earlier than that, & so on. Each time the owner said I must come earlier than that. I was there at 5:30 PM today. There were customers sitting & waiting. There was one waiting seat available. I took it. The owner was busy doing a manicure. He looked up & said I want my feet softer. I said I want all the rough pieces she left on the bottom smoothed. He said I was a liar & that she did a proper manicure. I said I'm going to a different salon & I left. I split the charge on Friday between two credit cards. I had wanted the pedicure on one, the hands on the other. We had gone back & forth, & he still did it his own way. I'm going to ask my credit card company if I can get the money back on the pedicure part. I was prepared since the beginning to pay him the extra for the rough soles. He had told me the first time I came back I would have to pay another fee. I was prepared to give a tip again too. Apparently he doesn't want my business. He can contact me here, if he changes his mind. I'm off to find a salon now. Oh, I forgot to tell you the following part. The first time I came back the other day, he tried to say the pedicure was longer ago. He's not an honest man. And he's never looked at motor touched my feet nor asked any 9f his workers to check. I understand he's either closing or working or has too much pride, but I would never want that young woman working for me if I had a salon. Edit 6:13 PM August 28th 2018 I just called my credit card company. They offered me a full refund, nothing less! PS I'm about to walk into another salon to "finish his job" now. And I forgot to tell you that when he first looked up at me today he said I want a change of polish. What a numb skull! PPS The next salon (it's 6:28 PM now) looked at my feet, & said a little pumice stone would do the job, as I have very nice soft feet. It's nice to get a compliment, after how I was treated by Lee. The stone was $2. How do you add a pic? I don't see it on Edit. I took a pic to post with this. PPS I hate giving a bad review. As you see by my previous reviews to other places, it's not my style. I'll give Lee an excuse. There's a heat wave in Bayside now. It might be 90°

Only place to go for your nails. Been coming for over 6 years, and I dont think anyone compares to Lee’s! Amazing staff who not only knows how to do anything for your nails, but really tries to perfect it, something hard to find when most nail salons just rush you.
