The first time I went there the husband / owner did my nails and he was very nice and polite he struck up a conversation. They do not have their fees listed on the wall so you have to ask them for their fee for whatever Services you may want. They appear to cater more to the older ladies who comes in for spa treatment and customer service. The second time I decided to come back I was sent to a younger guy to do my nails. He didn't talk to me at all. He appeared as if he just wanted to hurry up and be done. He asked for me to pay before he painted my nails. He never massage my hands with the lotion. He did not make sure that my nails were dry and that I was satisfied with the paint job. From what I have been able to observe both times I have been in this establishment is that the more you pay the better they treat you. They want you to spend at least 50 on nails no matter if you already have acrylic on your fingers or not. I do not let them hustle me for overpriced nails. So they don't like you if you do not spend a lot of money in the shop. They will rush and do the basics and get you out of the shop.

My first experience was awesome. It was my new favorite salon. But yesterday (4/27/19), I recieved service from someone who clearly doesn't know how to do nails. I've gone to the nail salon enough time and have watched them apply acrylic and buff my nails to know when something is done incorrectly. I walked in and was immediately greeted and asked what service I would like and addition I was asked to choice my color. The tech that did my nails grabbed about three sets of color from the basket, because someone else was looking thru them already. He pointed and waved me to the last station in the back. I originally asked for American he wasn't sure what it was I explained similar to French just use an off white and natural clear. He called over another nail tech she came and asked me what I would like I told her. He shaves off my old color. Then, starts to file and shape my nails before even applying the acrylic. Final he starts applying the aryclic, but it was very thick layers. As a result, leaving humps and an not so smooth surface. After that, he starts to buff a nail, but was having problems with his electric buffer. So he stopped and started using an enamel board, shaping a little here and there. I asked him to file down that thick layer of acrylic he put on, which he tried and failed. After, He pulled out another nail buffer, the one they use at the end before telling you to wash your hands, it makes it a smooth finish, well he used that a little. He instructed me to wash my hands. By then, I already decide I was just going to get clear nail polish. He painted my nails, one of the nails he wiped off the polish then repainted. After, that he pulled out the enamel board again and started filing. I told him that he is going to scratch off the paint. He stopped. Then put lotion on my hand and I was ready to pay. I have added photos. This experience was enough for me. I will not be returning. I'll find another shop in the neighborhood.

Not as friendly as they use to be. Jack and Dominque always look bothered and not to thrilled to see customers walk through the door. Too much attitude lately. There is only 1 tech that can do nails, Jack. Because he does such a great job he’s always booked. I’ve suggested that HE train other techs. Even with appointments there is an hour wait. I had to find a alternate Nail spa that actually have 4 really good nail techs that are as good as Jack. The only problem is they’re in Ellicott City not convenient but worth the extra time to drive. After 10 yrs forced to find a new home.

I had an open mind even though I read the reviews about appointments, rude staff, etc. I feel if you want to be acknowledged make an appointment and become a regular customer. They received much better service- greeted, seated first. I was in first and seated 4th. I don't know how they expect to retain new customers. I had to ask the technician to smooth my nails down...if I feel they're rough I'm sure she can feel them too. I'll return to my other salon even though it's in another community.
