Office staff, nurses and especially Dr. Kerner are all upbeat, friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone in the office is a professional and really listen to you to help solve your issues. I have referred several of my friends to Dr. Kerner and they all report back the same experience!

Epiphany is the most reliable place to get those nasty skin marks and pre-cancerous suspects checked. I have been going there for around 8 years after they found a pre-cancerous shape on my scalp. Don't wait if you suspect something fishy. Best bet is to be assured about the bump or pimple. Get it checked.

I made an appointment to have a mole removed on my face. I was told over the phone prior to my appointment I would be responsible for my Specialist Copay. Dr. Kerner, while extremely fast in the room, was efficient and removed it in less than a minute. He was great. I later received a huge bill for my deductible and a statement saying my insurance didn’t pay, which I was not told either would be the case. I spoke to an extremely rude receptionist named Monique trying to understand why I received this bill since I’ve had several moles removed before, one of which was much more invasive and was surgically removed. She wouldn’t let me get a word in, immediately defensive telling me she didn’t know what I wanted her to do about my bill. I asked if I could get an EOB and if she was looking at the bill, and she couldn’t explain any of it to me but instead was extremely rude and rushed me off the phone. I was so livid, I called my insurance to find out info and they said there was a payment made from my insurance and the statement was sent to me before the office posted the payment apparently. I’m still upset I wasn’t told my deductible would apply, however, luckily the insurance company calmly explained things to me and made me feel better and spoke to Monique for me so I wouldn’t have to. I work in billing and Monique should’ve handled that conversation with care and understanding. I try to explain people’s bills and empathize with them if it’s incredibly higher than they expected and offer solutions such as payment plans or speaking with someone who does know how to explain the bill better to them. Monique ruined my experience and I will not be going back to Dr. Kerner because of this. Hopefully they will refer future billing questions to another person who knows what’s going on so patients aren’t frustrated and crying by the end of the phone call. Ugh, disgusted with the customer service I received.
