My mother passed away in her apartment March 2020, that she was renting from them. She was a renting from them for over 5 years and always paid in advance. I contacted them the day she passed and left a message as it was after hours. The call was returned almost a week later. We had made plans to meet up so I could retrieve the keys and start going through her apartment. I was not able to make it during set time and contacted them again. This time I spoke to a secretary and she told me to leave a message on the managers office line as well. I told her due to COVID-19 I was not comfortable traveling all the way to their office and requested that he mail me a key or meet me half way. I also informed them that my aunt had a spare key and was planning to clear out my mother’s apartment. I asked if they could change the locks. I am my mother’s only child and everything was to legally go to me. NO ONE ever returned my calls and my aunt did just as she said. SHE TOOK EVERYTHING! Cars and all!!! I was and still am left with nothing!!!! Now if I ever want to see anything that was there I need to hire a lawyer which I can not afford. Had they been more professional and responsive I would not be left empty handed along with broken hearted. They never contacted me to return deposits either. This company clearly does not care for or value their tenants ! My mother would always complain about their management and in her time of living there had several incidents of vandalism on her car. Tires slashed over 3 times. She always warned me to never rent from them! Just don’t waste your time. God forbid you or a loved one passes in one of their units.

Took over my property (3rd landlord since my move in). Never came and inspected the property but somehow wanted to charge me for things that were there when I moved in. When I was moving out they mixed up the date and I came into a man in my home taking pictures. I told him I still had a week and he apologized and left. However when I got my letter in the mail after move out it was of all the pictures PRIOR TO ME MOVING OUT! Took pictures of my boxes I hadn’t moved yet and said I had stuff left behind and charged me. Charged me for not filling holes or cleaning because I HADNT MOVED OUT YET. I left behind the curtains and rods because they weren’t mine they were there when I moved in...charged. Did you want me to take what wasn’t mine? The best part is the paperwork they sent me from the original landlord going their walkthrough was completely blank. So nobody had any real clue about how nasty the place was when I moved in. Charged me for painting when I hadn’t touched the paint. Sent me to collections over their mistakes. Maybe next time send someone AFTER the tenant moves out to look at the property and take pictures. Also might be a good idea to see the condition the property was in when you buy it. What an absolute joke. Never experienced anything even close to this in my 12 years of renting.

Joe, and the 5 star staff were personal, professional, and first class throughout the application process and beyond. We are very pleased with our home, and the quality of service we have received.

A mere 2 days after applying for a place, I received 19, yes 19 spam calls throughout the day, while trying to sleep. I wound up going into work to pull a 10 hour shift on less than 2 split hours of sleep because of their shady tactics giving away people's phone numbers for money. I know it was them as I hadn't given my phone number to anybody in months, and I was previously getting 1 or 2 a week. I'm still getting 4+ a day, 2 weeks later.

Upon move out they gave me an itemized list of amount due including charges for updating outlets. As a tenant, I should not be responsible for updating a rentals' outlets on a home that I am no longer renting. They removed this from the list once I complained. They are trying to get more money out of their tenants. Not a reliable and trustworthy business. Be cautious if you decide to rent from here. Document everything and save receipts.
