This nail salon is filled with professionals! I’ve never felt more comfortable and at ease getting my nails done than with The Nail Doctor and Co. Ryan did a great job on my nails, she clearly knew what she was doing and even gave me tips and advice on how to maintain the health of my nails (she really is the nail doctor!) which I really appreciated. You can tell she truly cares for all of her clients and works hard to give them what they want in a healthy and sustainable manner.

I’ve been going to Ryan (owner of the Nail Doctor and Co) for about a year now. Until I found her, I was going through a number of inconsistent nail techs. Ryan is beyond creative and very professional. She brings all of my ideas — and ideas I couldn’t begin to think of — to fruition. Not only does she care for my acrylic, she ensures my natural nails are well taken care of and provides insight for keeping my nails healthy. Even before the new salon, Ryan has always kept a clean, well decorated workspace. I get sooo many compliments on my nails. Whether it’s new designs or just a classic nude. I recommend everyone to her!

My first time customer experience was horrible. I have never been treated like this as a customer EVER! My nail tech called out sick. I had no idea. The shop did not call, text, or email me to let me know. I was not offered the opportunity to reschedule or opt for another technician to service my needs. Instead, as a first time customer I was greeted with the most nonwelcoming encounter by the salon owner, Ryan Renee...Friday traffic was hectic; I arrived 5 minutes late. I sat in the waiting area as another nail tech alerted someone from the back room to assist me. I did not see my nail tech at her station. As the salon owner approached me, she immediately pulled out her phone(to check the time) and stated, "It is now 4:21, you are 6 minutes late. That will be an additional $20 to your service." I was a little dumbfounded. So she continued to say if you were 10 minutes late your appointment would be cancelled altogether. I explained traffic was crazy, I am a first time customer and not aware of the 5 minute grace period and just 1 minute outside of the grace. Ryan continued to say it will be $20. I already paid a $25 deposit decided not to give any more money to business that could careless of my circumstances, have the professional decorum to let me know my technician was not available, or have compassionate for a first time customer. I was looking forward to my appointment with my nail tech as she previously did my nails at her last salon. I am a faithful customer which is why I followed my tech to her The Nail Doctor and Co. I explained this to Ryan and asked her to look at my nails...they desperately needed care as my fill-in was overdue...instead she continued to say; since you are late, it puts her other customers at a disadvantage as they need service. My appointment was the LAST appointment of the day from 4:15pm - 6:00pm (30 minute soak off, then sculpted nails). I don't believe there was anyone scheduled after me which would have put another customer at a disadvantage.. I left the Nail Doctor totally humiliated. It's not the message but the delivery of the message. The owner seemed unconcerned by me as a customer. During my career, I have worked with customers for many, many years and understand what professional customer impressions looks and feels like...So that no one has to encounter the interaction I experienced, these are my suggestions. Suggestion 1: Make the customer aware upfront by calling or emailing to inform their scheduled nail tech is not available; give the customer the opportunity to reschedule or be serviced by another tech. Suggestion 2: Upon my arrival, greet the customer. "Hello, I am Ryan the owner. Your nail tech is not here today as she is sick. Apologies for not calling to inform you. I can service you today, however it will be an additional $20 because you are outside the grace period. Or, you can reschedule with your nail tech." Or possibly review the grace period but offer to discount or waive it since it's just 1 minute pass and this is new customer appointment with a soak off as the first service...I would have been a repeat customer who tips graciously. I came to the Nail Doctor hoping to close out a hectic week with self care pampering, but instead closed the week with a major disappointment. Luckily, I was able to have another salon squeeze me in the next day. The whole experience was humbling - I only want to be a blessing to others and see people as valued individuals not just a number. You never know what people are facing or going through. Have a blessed day.

The Nail Doctor Co and Lounge...I had the privilege of being serviced with a much needed fulfilling gel pedicure by MRS QUAD! Quad was very attentive and took pride in taking care of ME. Quad expressed her love of giving pedis...I felt the love through her massage techniques. The salon overall is how a nail salon should look to let us know upon walking in we can kick off our shoes...relax our feet while sitting in a big comfy soft pedi chair! Though I didn’t get a mani I did take time to sit a mani chair which was comfortable as well. I’ve seen the wonderful work during and after of Ryan and other nail techs at the salon...they all put love and fun into the ART of NAILS client after client. Each person that represents The Nail Doctor Co and Lounge greeted myself and others with a smile regardless if they had a client or not. Excited to see what else they will offer in the near future. Thanks ladies for making me laugh and be comfortable. What are you waiting on....go online and book your appointment!
