They do a great job! Always kind & professional.. It’s a WIN/ WIN in my opinion, the students have the opportunity to learn & we enjoy the services @ a fair price!!!

If I could give this place a zero I would give it a negative 0 0 0 0 0 never had the worst customer service in my life and I work in customer service which is pretty shocking I have been to multiple different Salon schools I have been to different salons I've got my nails my hair done wax anything you name it I've had it done I've been there been there done that anyways first time at the salon brand new customer never been here heard great things about it and I thought why not give it a shot well I was wrong I waited 3 hours for them to do no service on me just for a haircut and a die on top of that after I was going into my third hour my fourth the lady decided to give me horrible customer service and told me I should go somewhere else I will never go back to this place I will never recommend this place and I feel like I shouldn't be a salon it should be just a school because their main object here is to be school not actually doing hair so is a want to be a school than they should put that on there fine I'm a school not a salon

I had an awesome experience at Nationwide Beauty Academy on Tuesday, December 13, 2016. For the past year and a half, I have gone natural with my hair and have not had any chemicals in it! I requested a trim, shampoo/wash and flatiron. When I was finished, I looked like a completely different person and my hair looked fabulous, like I had just had a relaxer put in! I felt and looked great! It had been several years since I had been there and yet I felt like nothing had changed. Everyone was very polite, courteous and supportive of each other. You can tell the students really respect and enjoy working with their instructors. As an educator, I observed how great the instructors interacted with their students. It is a wonderful, nurturing, positive learning atmosphere and I would recommend going there and giving them a try if you have never been there! Not to mention, how much money you will/can save!! Thanks for another great experience! ~Kelly S.~

I tried to keep in mind this is a school and that's why it's 2 stars and not 1. Went in for a manicure. I've had one before and my experience was that your nails are shaped, cuticles carefully and fully pushed back, hang nails taken care of, nails are cleaned, hands moisturized and massaged, and then your nails are painted mainly on the nail and any stray polish cleaned up. My experience here was her not even pushing all my cuticles back even if they needed it, she didn't fully remove my previous nail polish even though we were putting white on, she didn't clean my nails. When she painted, she didn't try to "color within the lines." She painted my skin by a good amount on every single nail. Every one. Then she used acetone to "remove" excess. She often left polish on my finger and removed some from the nail. White is a hard color. I get it - I do it all the time. You want multiple thin coats because it doesn't cover as fully as easily as other colors but if you try to do just two thicker coats like she did it doesn't dry evenly and then even if the nail is dried anything touching it will reshape the polish. Just three thin coats is all you need. Probably trying to stay within the nail when coloring would help, too. She painted over a hangnail and it looked really bad and she said "That's a hangnail. I'll take care of that." I was honestly confused why she didn't try to prep my nails appropriatepy before painting. She never did take care of the hangnail. At all. I wish I knew how to post a pic in the comments. She asked what I thought and I looked at my nails painted more unevenly than I had ever painted them before even when I was learning to paint nails. I asked her what she thought as I looked at the uncleaned and unfinished look. She told me she loved them. I was there with friends who were having a great time. One got nails done by a girl with short blonde hair and she did a great job, so I didn't want to say anything and ruin their day because we went there to get manicures. I didn't want to ruin their fun because of what happened to me, but I need to write a review because I don't think other people should have that happen if they go in there with hoped the nails will be decent. We paid for the nails. Someone was paid to do that job, and that sucks a lot. If it were lack of skill and she were clearly trying I would have given 4 stars and understood that she was doing her best, but with this girl it was clearly a lack of effort so large it was almost insulting. I got home, removed the polish, and redid it myself. I will post a pic in the main pictures of the salon because I don't know how to here. Anyway, I hope this review is taken seriously so that if someone else has a bad job it at least isn't from lack of effort. It was a special occasion for us and that did ruin it for me. It was bad enough that even my boyfriend noticed and was surprised.
