PLEASE DONT GO HERE. I was looking for a 2 bed and bath they said it was available i looked around at the apartment. It was absolutely gorgeous so I put in the application paid about $150 for 4 people. I got approved and now they have been taking money out of my account without telling me. The most current one was today they took $40 put then $24 and They wont tell me what for. My issue is I haven't even moved in yet and they are taking money without my permission 😡

Living here since 2015, family growing we are on our 3rd apartment at the complex, we love the place: great pools, hottubs, basketball court, sand volleyball court, awesome location walking distance from supermarkets, stores and parks. Insane view of the mountains. Staff is great and always ready to help.

Use to be a wonderful place to live. New management stinks! DON’T MOVE THERE! If your in your god given legal right to call the police for your own protection you will get an eviction notice almost 2 weeks later saying that you have to leave in 10 days. Which is illegal!!!!! More then half the complex is empty! I thank its time for everyone who has been treated wrong by this management co. To get ahold of Don and Dave Macy ( the property owners). And get ahold of an attorney. Mine got them to change their mind about making me move out in 10 days to giving me 60 days to vacate. Not only did I find a bigger apartment it’s also $200 cheaper then the Legacy! They don’t care about you! It’s all about money to them! And they didn’t just do it to me! Time to sue!!!!

This place WILL NOT remarket an apartment for you. There is also absolutely no way they will let you out of your lease. The staff will all tell you different stories and lie about remarketing it. Be ready for a full lease without anyway to get out of it.

Two maintenance requests in the past month unanswered. Other past maintenance requests required multiple follow-ups and management escalation. It is exhausting. Especially when paying $2000+ a month in rent. The apartment is fairly decent. Nothing extraordinary. Not energy efficient. High utility bills and cold/drafty in Winter. Spiders everywhere! The only positives about Legacy are the trees, birds and squirrels. 80% of the residents don’t speak or make eye contact. It has a very transient vibe. Update. The ladies in the leasing office are friendly. But, they have no control over the property. They work for the wizard behind the curtain who shows up once a week in a black Mercedes-intimidation and aggression at its finest. The wizard doesn’t care that we’re in the middle of a pandemic; arbitrarily changes what was promised upon move in, forces an early termination to pay full lease term bc they won’t re-market an apartment even though there is a housing shortage, ends another tenants tenancy-with Covid risk factors. This property is a web of LLCs connected to The Macy Development Co whose registered agent is a high profile personal injury attorney in Denver. Even if you follow community rules and pay on-time, if you anger the wizard, she’ll mess with you. They claim they value their residents. But, they do not value their residents. If they did, they wouldn’t throw each and every maintenance request into the garbage-making it a very uncomfortable place for residents to live. Then, they’ll place a demand to move letter on your door-justifying this by telling you that you’re “just not happy” living there and therefore should move. I’m pretty sure it is illegal to retaliate against a tenant for demanding a resolution to maintenance issues. One of my issues was resolved when they finally dispatched Terminix last week. The other issue is still unresolved and has degraded into a power struggle/battle of epic proportions in the time of Covid19.
