I recently went to Logan Raye to receive a haircut. The first experience left me with hair shortly below my shoulders that had only one layer about three inches from my scalp. It was so bad that even my husband told me that my hair looked better in a ponytail. I did not feel that this was worth the $55 that I had paid, so I called the manager to see if it could be corrected. I tried another stylist, who assured me that she could give me a bob the length of Sophia Bush's hair - showing me pictures to make sure that we were on the same page. My hair is now to my chin with chopped up, uneven layers throughout...Not to mention that one side of my hair is longer than the other. I also received an eyebrow wax. It was the first painful eyebrow wax of my life. The brows are uneven, and my left brow has a considerable gap in the middle of it. The first hairstylist was pleasant. The eyebrow technician was rude. The second hairstylist was spastic - clearly unstable. When she had "finished' my haircut, she told me to look at it. I said nothing but merely ran my fingers through my bone-straight hair. My hair is very thick and extremely wavy. I was trying to translate in my mind how my hair would really look. She started snapping at me and covering her face in her hands. I was a little scared. When I called the manager to tell him that I was still not pleased with the $71 of service that I had received, he hung up on my after being terribly rude. I would not let a Logan Raye stylist brush my dog's hair - much less ever come within 100 yards of my hair with a pair of scissors ever again. This has been a terrible, stressful experience that I am going to have to live with for the next several months as I let this horrible haircut grow out again.

I recently looked up the phone number for Logan Raye and noticed the negative comments. I thought it was only fair to note that there is atleast one stylist on staff who is second to none, her name is Laura Pinkas and she is fabulous. If you are a first time customer she is the one to ask for. She is a color specialist and will take all cuts piece by piece bit by bit letting you see each part of the cutting process to make sure you are comfortable. So many people do not tell stylists what they want, or show them a picture and are angry when it does not turn out that way for them. Every style looks different on every person and Laura will tell you what will/will not work with your face shape and coloring...ask for her she is awesome!

I just had an appointment with Justin at the downtown location for cut and color and he did such an amazing job!! He even did a gloss which made my hair look so insanely shiney and healthy. He said he lived in NYC for years so his training is very current and top notch.

My daughter had Japanese straightening done. This is a eight hundred dollar process. She has had it done before at the Lake Carolina store and was happy. The new person did a terrible job. We found the origanal girl after much searching and she said it is under processed and not done at all in many areas. Process was not done right all around because this chemical is not to be put on dry hair and she put it on my daughters hair without washing or even wetting it. The rececptionist, stylist and owners can not get stories straight. The stylist even left my daughter in the chair while she went to get her nails done....fighting to make this right..because my daughter is NOT paying for this!
