My girlfriends and I went to Tulip and had a wonderful experience. Everyone was so kind and sweet. They have great big massage chairs too!! 3 got a tulip pedi and I got a foot reflex. We had only excellent things to say. We highly recommend getting these services. We can't wait to go back again!

I utilize this business for underarm and lower leg waxing whenever I am on this side of town; they *always* do a good job with this!!! The only other service I have tried is the 1 hour "reflexology" massage, but I cannot recommend this if you are used to the classical European or Chinese styles. It is just a slow moving foot massage with intention which is *not* the same as reflexology. Be prepared that you will likely be told that you can't get a good session if you don't purchase the upgrade for foot buffing. Buffing is not necessary, nor does it create a better session, when you don't have rough feet to begin with. I will say that the session is provided with surgical gloves, so this may be why they wanted to buff me. But, it was unfortunate that when I did not take part in the suggested up-sale that I did not need, a momentarily smug face was made. I would suggest that if they want the customers to have their feet buffed, they just increase the charge of the session, add the buffing of the feet and be done with it. May I point out, that the salon is *always* very clean, the staff is generally quite friendly and the location is comfortable with easy access from both Fountainview and Westheimer roads. I do not feel hesitant at all to use my credit card to pay for services here.

I'm not from Houston, but staying at the Doubletree and needed a mani and pedi. Far and away the best pedicure and manicure I have ever had..even from high end spa's. The foot massage was so good I didn't want to finish. Unlike the comments below: there is no fish tank and it is clean and they use liners on the tubs. Highly recommend!

Maybe I'm not the girliest girl or the hugest frequenter of nail shops, but I know a good experience when I have one. My nails look perfect, my feet and legs are like butter, and I am happily waddling to my car like an 8 month pregnant woman - all thanks to the lovely folks at Tulip. I came as a walk-in and they were very welcoming right off the bat. At $5 cheaper than a nearby 4/5 star competitor, Tulip was the obvious choice. Nancy was so gentle that I actually fell asleep while sitting up (oops ma' bad). We talked just a little and before I knew it, my gorgois french tipped nails were done! She was able to blend my nail lengths to match a broken nail I had, without making all the nails too short. The manicure was so good that only a week passed before I came back for my toes. As others have said, the foot massage is to die for. Hai massages your legs as if he was Kenny G and your leg was the saxophone. He was seriously hospitable and accommodating, even offering me the most delicious cafe sua da, an iphone charger, and some headphones that would blow your mind. The pedicure wasn't too shabby either. It is obvious why this location has been in business for 13 years, despite being hidden by the neighboring Los Cucos. I can't stop staring at my perfectly painted nails. I just wish I had another set of hands and feet so I could go back sooner!
