Editing 2 days later: the gel overlay is peeling off 4 fingers so far. I am not sure what happened this time but I am super unhappy with my nails.
I am usually very happy when I come here…today was different. I wanted an ombré pink and white. Pretty easy. My nails are awful. they are all different size and shapes, looks like I did it at home by myself. I usually don’t complain but I am not satisfied at all. The tech also was very rough on my cuticles and I was bleeding on multiple fingers.

I just got the worst manicure here. The woman went so fast, I don't know that I was with her even 10 minutes. She very quickly cleaned up around my cutices after barely pushing my cuticles back. She didn't take off the clear polish i hadd on and had to ask her to at the end and she didn't get it all off. As you can see my nails are still a mess. Buffed my nails all randomly. Very lightly filed careless. I would have done a clear gloss, but I asked for no polish because im going to have to go home and do my nails myself. I was going to come back tomorrow for a pedicure but I will be finding another salon.

I truly love coming to this Salon. I have only lived here a short time and found these people wonderful,kind, friendly and helpful. Alex always does my nails. I have acrylic and always get designs on my nails. Alex is absolutely amazing. The owner Twee and the rest of her staff are very friendly
. It's a very clean salon and very calming and comfortable. I am so happy I found them. I recommend Nail Salon First and Spa.

I had the absolute worst experience at this place I came here bc my normal nail tech was out of the country. It was days before my birthday & my job was flying me to Houston for the work week & I needed my nails and toes done. I tried them out. Need less to say their service is horrible. Lisa & Flower work on me. Flower did the best she could. I’m an extremely picky person. But I try to give people the benefit of the doubt. I told the nail text that my thumb nail was lifting & that I needed to be replaced instead she put some glue on it & painted over the issue. I spent 100$ when I got home that same thumb nail broke I called them immediately to let them know. The owner answered & told me to come back the next day at noon. I came back they told me they were busy & asked me to come back 3 hours later. I refused to leave. They made me wait 1hr & 30 minutes to fix one nail. The lady that fixed it was soooooooo aggressive. I’m over this salon I’m literally inside here now writing this review!!! Run from this place!!!

I just left the salon. Came in for a quick gel polish change. The staff was friendly however the nail stylist they assigned to me seems annoyed for having to serve me. She did a very horrible job on my toes and had a attitude when I asked he to add an additional coat to the one coat dry looking mess that she did. She was very nasty and I witness her immediately serve another (non African American) customer after me with a smile and good customer service. I was very offended. Especially because I was kind and polite.
The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because after seeing the horrid job this lady was doing, the shop owner (or manager) removed her and immediately reassigned another stylist who did a amazing job very quickly. They also gave me a discount on my service. The manager did a very good job at assessing the issue and handling it so she deserves credit.
Overall, I would come again but I would avoid the older stylist at all cost.
