Hey i was wondering if people could foster puppies/dogs? Because I wanted to foster a puppy, I really love dogs and i had one but he passed last year. I haven't had a dog since then. But is there any fosters available? I think it would be a good opportunity to take them in public and find them a good home. I have bad anxiety and depression i struggle with so i would want to be able to foster a dog or puppy so i can get back to my old self you know. My dog last year was a pit and he was my Emotional Support Animal I took him everywhere. I also could help you train puppies or dogs cause i used to train my uncles dogs like commands and how to walk on a leash and not pull. When I was 13 i used to come to this rescue shelter and walk that dogs around the block. But if you could can you comment back and let me know? Please and thank you!!

I just love what they do for the animals that need a safe place. They keep it very clean and are super friendly there.

Adopted “Bazooka” May of 2020, you can tell that the staff inside are passionate, caring, and very hard working! We are lucky to have found this place!

Went into the shelter and saw a 100+ pound dog in a cage it could barely lie down in. The lady working was very rude and all of the cages were very dirty. Would not recommend this shelter they do not take care of their animals and are rude to their customers

We passed the shelter a couple times trying to find it. If you’re new and visiting, it’s tucked away on the side of the road. There wasn’t a real parking lot so we just parallel parked on the side. There were lots of kitties and dogs in the back. They all seemed to be well taken care of and you can tell the owner really loves each of these animals. We found our little Shorty and instantly fell in love. You have to fill out some paperwork after you pick out your new friend and put A partial deposit to hold for adoption (ours was $35). They do do house visits to make sure youre appropriate for your new pet. My boyfriend and I both have super busy schedules but they still found time to take a quick visit. A family member we live with was sick at the time so they only did a very brief in-house visit and then spoke with my boyfriend and I about us and our life. The woman that we spoke to was very polite and nice. Whoever does the house visits does not make the decision so you will have to wait a few days for that. Three days later we got the call that we could come pick Shorty up and went and got him that day! He was neutered and has a microchip. He has his first round of shots including his rabies vaccine, and then here in a few weeks we have an appointment to go get the next round of shots for free at the shelter. They even trimmed his nails before we left. If you don’t have a pet carrier you can purchase one of their cardboard box ones for a couple dollars-that’s what we did. Overall very pleasant experience, I’ve recommended quite a few people to this place since visiting and would gladly adopt another friend from them in the future. We are so happy that we got to bring our little Shorty home-he’s already spoiled and it’s only been a week! He’s definitely one loved little kitty!
