I booked an appointment today and was extremely pleased. The staff is very accommodating. They have some of the lowest prices in the area. A full set of acrylics and gel polish is $40, compared to $50 or $55 at other places. I will be returning!!

I had the worst experience at this salon. On Monday 9/30 I went to LA perfection. The guy that did my nails sits in the aisle desk second row of the salon. He made my nails all different shapes and they looked like a child did them. I told him I didn’t want thick and wide nails and that’s exactly what he gave me. He didn’t listen to anything I was saying. He cut me with the file multiple times and they were bleeding... and now I have cuts on my fingers that burn. He knew I was unhappy and didn’t try and fix the problem. He charged me $35 and I was floored. I left in tears and went straight to another nail salon to have them fixed. Don’t go to this salon. They have poor work ethic and do not care about their customers. Don’t waste your money there. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Here is what was wrong with my visit:
While she’s adding the color I notice my middle finger on my left hand looked like the nail polish wasn’t fully dry so I let her know about it, she adds more nail polish and tells me to put my nails in the un light for like 10 seconds. Nails still not dry. She’s kept adding more and more nail polish but my nail still looked weird she wanted to act like there was nothing wrong but you can tell it was messed up.
Then a lady comes in and wants her to do her nails she says I will be with you in 10 minutes yet she just started painting my nails. So while this nail still not cooperating she starts rushing to finish my other nails. Then she calls the lady and starts working on her and she’s going back and forth with both of us which I hate when I’m at a nail salon. If you have a customer finish with them and then do the other person because she was just rushing to finish my nails to start on her. Also as you can see from my pictures, when I left the salon I had a lot of white nail polish on my fingers which I told her about but she still didn’t remove it all. On my right hand you can see that she didn’t even add polish to my whole nail, on my pinky on the side I can still see my nail with no color... Sadly I will not be returning.
UPDATE: After 6 days of my visit, the color on one of my nails came off.. didn’t even last a week

I absolutely love this place. It’s under new ownership and they’ve renovated the whole interior and installed new pedicure stations. The staff is very professional and kind. I’ve been with May for my nail and wax services for over 5 years now. I highly recommend!
