Overall, decent enough walmart considering the location. Selection is good, prices are good, and the people are nice enough. The overall feel could be a bit better, though.

It's weird to rate this place because we all go there regardless! I find they are often out of things I'm looking for, there's never any small shopping carts available as cart caddies are often full in the parking lot. Liquor/ beer selection is mediocre. (4 diff kinds of Mexican tall cans but no Shock Top?) Most employees are friendly and helpful although they disappear for several long minutes at the deli counter sometimes. But I'll be back!

This Walmart is 'always' busy with the exception of late night hours. The parking lot was repaved the summer/fall of 2017 so there are no more potholes! There is a Murphy's gas station at the entrance of Walmart. They are somehow tied together that if you used a Walmart credit card or Walmart gift card you get 2-3 cents off per gallon of gasoline. They always have the cheapest gas in Troy. The problem with this store is the majority of the employees. 80% of the time if you ask an employee where something is they will reply with something like "Uh, I think it is over in aisle 2" and go back to what they were doing. You may go to aisle 2 to look for this item and not find it and ask another employee-a similar response and you realize you should have just driven 15 miles down the road to the Wentzville, MO Walmart where the items are available and the employees are friendlier and helpful. Most of the greeters are very friendly but there is an exception: an old slender man around 5'6" who wears glasses, and has wavy white hair. He will walk off in another direction and act as if he is busy when you walk in. Maybe to the entrance to check the grocery bag recycle box, act as if he is straightening carts, etc. Don't expect him to help you except if you have a return. Don't expect a friendly "Hi welcome to Walmart", either. I have talked to the manager of the store about him. I told the manager how a group of women at the salon all agreed that he was extremely impolite. Yet, this guy still works as a greeter. Shelves are not fully stocked. It is hit-n- miss to find what you need.

It's pretty good except for a couple things one is they don't all have the same stuff there's a half a dozen items that I buy they don't carry at the one in Troy but they do in the one in O'Fallon the other thing is they're not all set up the same which makes it harder to find stuff. Bottom line, it is a good place to shop. But as always, it could use some improvement. They should get a suggestion & or comment box. It's a great way to get new ideas for improvement. And find out what the people like & don't.🤔??? Thanks, & have a good day.! John Wayne Parton

I'll be honest with you. I rarely shop at Walmart, so you might be thinking, whats up with the five 🌟 review? Well, Walmart has been my free source of entertainment, chill time, crying child diversion, quick ice cream fix, toilet bowl brush, jack of all trades kind of place since I can remember. Walmart, thanks for providing a place for me to comfortably waste my time.
