This place does not even get a star in my book. I had to put a star to submit this. I was charged multiple times for my room that only cost $364.00. I was on a business trip and was supposed to get a discount. Instead they charged me $417.70 TWICE. Then the unprofessional desk clerk tells me to go ahead and pay for my stay, which was 3 nights and 1 day, and maybe that will take the pending charges off. I pay the $364. Then I wake up the next day with another charge of $139.10. And then they tell me it's nothing they can do. Every morning I get up for them to tell me to wait for the next manager to come on duty. This is my first trip to North Carolina and it has been the worst trip I have ever been on. All the things I wanted to see and do, I cannot because they have almost $1,000 pending transactions on my card. Money that is mine that I cannot use. No rectification of the errors. No complimentary stays. No free dinners. No discounts on other stays. NOTHING! I check out tomorrow and I will NEVER CHECK IN TO THIS EMBASSEY SUITES FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!

Great customer service including the check in staff, bar staff and breakfast staff. Got free cocktails and breakfast, can’t complain. Quality of food/ drink were great.
The room was very clean and spacious. The bathroom was huge! Loved it. I would definitely stay here again!

I should of been told when I checked in by Nicole. How breakfast actually works and the hours of the 2 complimentary drinks. Not just given the card. If Vince is Manager over food/beverage he shouldn't attempt to help the front end. He was not helpful at all putting me off to people that come in the next day.
Whoever cleaned the room. Failed to clean it like it should of been cleaned and per the Room Cleanliness paper. That’s located right on the table. When I walked into our room. Hair was in the shower, it was something under the nightstand by the bed, sofa bag pillow still had pillowcase on it, no sheet set, blanket balled up in bag, water still in the iron, etc.
We should not be getting cool air blowing from the vent while the thermostat is on heat. For Renee to come in and tell me that’s fine because of outside temp, amount of units in this hotel, etc. is sad. When you come to someones room introduce yourself. Also don’t be on the outside of the door with it majority closed while someone is still talking, that's rude.
When I went down for breakfast it's weird that the amount of meat Luis. Said I would recieve and what I recieved was different. If I put a comment on my order form. Don't attempt to go back and forth with me. Because you don't work at the front desk. As an employee of any establishment, you are part of the team. I witnessed a guest struggle to get her room key off the floor. While Luis was standing right there looking at her. Saying "she couldn't get it". So I helped her since he clearly wasn't with my hands full of my breakfast order and needed linen. One of my daughters had to go back down because the order she put on the paper. Wasn't all in her bag when she got back to the room.
I wanna Thank Clarence for coming from the front desk to the breakfast area. Where Luis observed me having trouble. Putting my linen into the brown bag he provided me with. To assist me since Luis wasn't.

Comfortable bed and friendly staff.
However for the rate and the hotel I definitely had higher expectations when it came to my room. The room was much smaller than expected and I had a king suite considering we are in pandemic there was used toilet paper on the roll when we entered the room. However I was able to replace with the one new one they left. Also rust on the shower wall and peeling paint on cabinetry in the bathroom. Carpets were noticeably stained and needed cleaning. So for what I received in a room not really worth the price but the service and hotel outside of the actual room over all is nice. Considering there are some updates made I may return to this location. However as of know I'll probably choose another.

Room had too many doors- bath area had doors on 2 adjacent walls that opened into the vanity location. Toilet/shower room had no door.
Carpet in high traffic area had ground in dirt and looked like it was never cleaned.
Day 1 breakfast forgot toast I ordered and day 2 breakfast forgot to include salt and pepper.
