She called me back quickly so I could make an appointment. Got me in the same day. Desperately needed a haircut. She listened & understood what I was looking for in a very short clipper & texturized cut. Nice, clean & comfortable place. Price was very good also. Was paying 1/3 rd to 1/2 more at other places for a cut I didn't like nearly as much. She is also a very lovely lady to converse with as she does your hair.

This is a privately owned business. The lady who operates Happy Hair Salon is polite and a good conversationalist. She asks a fair price for her work and does and excellent job.

I loved happy hair salon! I was in town visiting family for my birthday and was able to get a same day appointment for a cut and color. Honestly it’s not exactly what I was expecting but I LOVE IT. The owner/stylist is super nice and good at what she does. Best haircut ever

2018 has approached us and after being away (out of state) for quite some time, I must say, its a pleasure to be back. Also below is my first experience with Happy Hair Salon. HAPPY HAIR SALON TO THE RESCUE. This was my first experience with Happy Hair Salon and I am shouting to the world, WHAT AN AMAZING SALON! The color came out perfect and the cut was done to perfection, and the Price was right. I am a client for as long as the business stays open. Here is why: I just moved to Lancaster County PA. My hair is extremely difficult and complicated. My natural color is dark brown/black and I changed my color to blonde in 87 and kept it that way. Majority of salons here in Lancaster County want to bleach my hair, which I refused since I never had a bleaching process so why start. My hair needs 40 volume lift, capped and under the dryer for 1 hour. I provided this crucial information to the stylist I spoke to in person or on the phone, The stylist called for verification of the formula and processing. Most of the salons did not feel comfortable doing my hair Moving forward, being new to Happy Hair Salon I was extremely nervous due to my previous experience I had at a salon located in Mount Joy PA which I am not going to waste my time discussing. I will say this, if you want GREAT service plus a stylist who does amazing work, Please take a chance with Happy Hair Salon. I did, and now I found a home. FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART THANK YOU FOR AN AMAZING JOB.......

I've lived in etown for a year and haven't tried a salon here until now. I was itching for my natural hair color back which is a deep chestnut brown. I looked at the reviews and decided to come here. She was nice enough, the place appeared clean. We looked at the color swatches and matched it to the top of my head, she mixed the color in front of me and all the while I thought it didn't look like enough hair color for my whole head. (My hair goes about two inches past my shoulders.) She was using the absolute bare minimum hair dye on me, my hair was nearly dry. when she finished scrapping the bowl she combed through my hair to distribute the color as much as possible, my hair is in a fragile state with the color on and hurts a lot as she combs through it all. She decided she needed to mix up a bit more hair color after all, what a relief. My hair was then covered like I had originally expected. My appointment was at five and after she put the color in it was six fifteen when she finally set the timer. I sat for about ten minutes then she instructed me to go to the wash station which I thought was fast but knowing how long the first batch of color sat I wasn't too worried. The color was dark! But it was wet. So I expected it to get lighter after she styled it. I hadn't asked for a style in the beginning and wasn't expecting much, but I've never had my hair done without the stylist atleast blow drying it. She used her fingers to comb through half my head with a hair dryer then unbuttoned and removed the drape, I remained sitting and she said "dry enough for you?" I was just heading home so I said "I guess." But I would never go anywhere but home with my hair looking the way she left it. I have light curls with frizz when it drys by itself, not a great look. Having already priced the color I expected 60 at checkout. She charged me 75. I expect from having to make a bit more color to cover my head. But 75 dollars? Seemed rough for what I got. I try to go to small businesses to help my community but I could have gone to a chain and spent 50, and they would have dried my hair. Also, after getting home and finishing drying and styling my hair it was still two shades darker than what we decided on. Disappointed. But it's only hair and the color will fade I'm sure. I won't be returning.
