I moved out of state some 7+ years ago and Lin’s was my go to salon. I love the remodeling they did and I’m very satisfied on my mani/pedi. Don’t understand why so many negative reviews cause I give only a thumbs up

They will literally chase/ curse you for a tip. I went there twice. The first time I got my nails done there I paid in cash I got my change back in singles and while packing up to go the nail tech was standing in front of me with her hand out. Big turn off, let me tip if I want to, beside, she did a lousy job. The second time I was in a rush so I proceeded to pay with a card. Before the payment was even processed the owner said to me “ where is tip, you can’t come her and don’t tip” keep in mind one nail tech did work on me and my daughter and they told us we had to tip separately. I do not mind tipping, but the owner’s approach was so filthy I tipped and made sure they know I will not return

I love this place. Typically, I'm in only for an eyebrow wax, but have also gotten manicures and pedicures. I've never been hassled for a tip, as others have suggested. They always ask me to pay before painting my nails, which I appreciate, so I don't have to risk damaging my freshly painted nails.
My eyebrow waxing always looks perfect and they always ask me how thin I'd like them.
I know everyone has a different experience, but I've never experienced anything negative. :)

I have been going to this salon for many years. I must say the only reason I keep going to this place is for SAM. My biggest complaint about this salon is the OWNER. She is always yelling on the phone or to her employees. Not only that but she harasses you for a tip. Today she literally stood behind my boyfriend and I while I dried my toes asking us to leave a tip. Mind you I had already given my tip to Sam and explained we would give our second tip once we were ready to leave. We put our tip in the tip jar and she yelled asking where did you leave the tip!! Seriously????!!!! That is not how you treat your customers or people in general. She needs to learn how to run her business and learn proper business etiquette!!

Good job but over priced and lady yells very loud constantly all day so its never relaxing...now i go to KT Nails on sunrise hwy in sayville, KT does an absolutely amazing job and is very reasonably priced, i am making this the only salon i use from now on..
