Arrived at 11:55am when they open at 12pm. The pedicure chairs were full. I needed one nail fixed, that chipped after 2 days. I sat for 15 minutes before someone came over to tell me that it would be another 30ish minutes before I could be seen. They told me to come back later since I couldn’t wait, but working full time doesn’t allow me the luxury of coming I later. I am perfectly fine with waiting for those that were ahead of me and had appointments. But what upsets me is arriving before the open and not being informed of a 45 minute wait upon arrival. Unfortunately I’ll go somewhere else from now on. I hope that they figure out their customer service.

We have been to Queen's Nails several times. Every time we walk in someone else is at the front desk or, very often there's no one at the front desk. When that happens any woman that's available, will eventually come up to find out what you want. Many times she doesn't understand English. Or she is young and too interested in socializing, getting back to her phone, or doing anything except paying attention to the person who is standing in front of her. However, regardless of who it is, she's always interested in rushing you into a chair with whatever technician is available. Despite all of this confusion at the front desk I've gone here for waxing services several times and I've always been happy with the results. Because of this I made an appointment for a pedicure with a specific technician. I wanted her because I was familiar with her and didn't want a new or different one. When I made this appointment, I also asked for a special technician who knew how to treat the feet of diabetics as my husband was going to come with me. When we walked in for our scheduled appointment, the technician that I had asked for was with another customer, even though I had made the appointment at least three days beforehand. I settled for another technician. The technician that was assigned to my husband did not even speak English. How could she have possibly known how to give a diabetic a pedicure? Because we were scheduled to travel the next day, we stayed. We should have walked out. During our pedicures my husband and I were repeatedly jabbed with sharp instruments, had our cuticles removed with pointy clippers that were dug too deeply into the flesh of our toes, and had rough files raked across our nails, often too far down into the toe. We both felt the leg massages were uncomfortable and too hard. In the end, our nails looked okay, however we felt like we had been through a torture chamber. There are too many other nail salons in the area for us to go to. Some of the nail techs at Queen's Nails are probably okay; these two were not. Because we don't want to take the chance if being tortured again, we won't return to this salon. It's not worth the torment of being treated rudely at the front desk and then going through a tortuous pedicure that is supposed to be relaxing AND being forced to pay for it.

I've been going here on and off for 10+ years. I know it's been around for a long time bc I would walk past it on my way to Jr High. Love the atmosphere and the service depends on the tech. Like any service job if you find a tech that does great work keep going to them. I never remember to ask their name so it's always a gamble for me. Their prices aren't bad.
