I had previously went to another school in Tulsa and dropped out because the curriculum just didn’t suit my learning style so I came here because they are a pivot point school instead of milady. They have you work on clients after only 8 weeks instead of 7 months which sounds scary but it’s the best way to get you ready for the salon instead of just state board. I’m retaining a lot more information because of the way this school teaches and I’m so happy to be here. It’s a small school which means there’s more one on one opportunities with instructors in case you don’t understand and they really care and want to see us succeed. I highly recommend this school. I’m very happy to be here and feel like I’ll be ready for work as soon as I get my license.

I understand that these are students, but my nails were not buffed during my manicure so the polish looked a little rougher than anticipated at the end. Then, my checkout price was 150% of what was listed on the website for the service, so I was frustrated that I had to pay much more than anticipated. For the final price, I should’ve gone to a professional salon. I was expecting a lesser quality for a discounted rate, but the final rate was the same as a salon.

The gal that did me needs customer service skills. She got upset when i moved and doing shampoo I suggested she be a little more gentle. She did not talk when i tried to engage her in conversation. Never smiled, when i would ask her questions no answers. Instructor said people picky should not come to a school.
I told him that in real world she will run into all kinds. I will not go back.

Morgan Moore cut me and my daughter's hair and did a fabulous job!!! We enjoyed our experience and will definitely be back to see her! Also her supervisor was super sweet as well.

I have been attending CEC for a month now and love it! The staff is amazing and the environment is nonjudgmental. I would recommend for anyone who is interested in the beauty industry.
