First of all how do you charge a tip before you even serve the food and who charges tip on carry out orders???? I had ox tails they were really salty and gravy resembles that of frozen Salisbury steaks. Rice was crunchy. My buddy got the fish it was pretty good, so I give at least 2 stars for fish, the staff friendly and the place is clean. Beware tips added to all prices on the menu at time of order, I would come again if they would make tipping my choice!!! Everyone has a off day so I can get past mystery gravy and salty oxtail a and there's lots of other things to try before I totally condemn them!

staff very helpful and friendly. food very tasty!! I had smothered pork chops, greens, yams and cornbread enjoyed ever bite! they forgot to give my pregnant daughter her rice for her smothered pork chops which she loved. The young man quickly apologized & took care of it when I called. Great customer service. Would recommend. Will go back soon!!!!!

Sorry give this place a miss. I ordered fried chicken and is was overdone and greasy. I also ordered banana pudding, didn't get to try it. While I was waiting for my food, they sold the last order of banana pudding to another customer - a dessert I had already bought and paid for. When I finished my food and asked about the pudding the girl behind the counter finally told me what happened and asked do I want a refund. Of course I want a refund! I'm not paying for something I didn't get.
They may learn how to better manage the business. But ...

I gave one star only to leave my review. I gave this place 3 tries and they were horrible each time. The smothered chicken is backed chicken with gravy. 👎I ordered peach cobbler and after I paid and waited 20 minutes for my good I was informed that they were out. I was offered a refund or an order of cobbler the next day. I chose to get the cobbler. After calling 3 days in a roe and being told no cobbler I called it quits. Never received a refund or the cobbler!!!!!

The smothered chicken was terrible. My stomach still hurts. It was old, baked/burnt chicken covered in a nasty gravy. The cabbage had a burned taste, plus it was old. The mac n cheese was dry and old. The cornbread was crumbly and dry. I'm just here for the weekend. My friends suggested this place. Never again.
