We needed an outlet checked out for safety as we heard a loud pop when we turned on the t.v. It's been many years since we needed electrical work but we used to call American Electrical, so I called them for this. In addition, I asked for a quote to install 2 can lights.
I told them I was sort of alarmed by the sound from the outlet & was worried it was a fire hazard, so they worked us in mid-afternoon. Keven & Dakota were the guys who showed up. They worked fast to find a simple problem with the outlet, and then told me the can lights would be an easy installation and did I want them to start right then? Well, of course I did! I wasn't expecting to have to wait a week.
Kevin was the lead electrician & did a fabulous job cutting into the plaster ceiling of our old San Marco house. He worked meticulously with a tiny tool to cut the opening so as not to crack surrounding plaster. He was also very patient with my 20 questions that I asked as he worked. I like to understand how things are done and he had no problem with that. They worked fast so my final price was not inflated due to wasted time.
Both guys were great & I definitely recommend American Electrical.

American Electrical has done any and all electrical work in our home for nearly 20 years. This morning, we had two overhead lights put in that I should have had installed years ago. Ryan and Levi were here when expected and did the work promptly and neatly. I also appreciate that their phones reflect the company name and as usual the employees are neatly dressed with logo shirts so you know who is calling and who you are letting in your home. Ryan also had helpful information about modern LED lights and what works where. Can't believe I am feeling such 'joy' over a simple overhead light in my formerly dark pantry--but what a difference. Thank you American Electrical.

These guys were great! Alan and his apprentice called to let me know they were coming and after some extensive problem-solving they fixed my problem (a bad outdoor wall outlet). They were also very conscious of the time, trying waste time to help keep my final cost as lo as possible. I really appreciated that. Before they left, they made sure everything was back in it's place, everything was working, and everything was cleaned up. Thanks Alan!! If I ever need electrical work done again I will definitely call American Electrical. I will also recommend them to anyone I know with electrical problems. Thanks guys for a job well done!!

I just had my whole house generator installed by Dwayne Current & Don Shaw! I cannot begin to tell everyone how wonderful they both are. They arrived on time, were polite and professional. They took the time to go over everything with me and then expertly got to work. They were neat, and efficient and very pleasant to talk with. I could not have asked for better service!!!! If there were more than 5 stars, I would have rated them higher!

HAD GREAT SERVICE FROM CARL AND HIS ASSISTANT, JUSTIN. THEY DIAGNOSED AND CORRECTED MY WIRING ISSUES EFFICIENTLY AND EFFECTIVELY. THE HOUSE HAD BEEN WIRED INCORRECTLY DURING CONSTRUCTION, BUT THEY DID NOT STOP UNTIL THEY FOUND THE ISSUE. CARL WAS PLEASANT AND VERY HELPFUL IN HELPING ME TO UNDERSTAND THE PROBLEM AND HOW THEY WERE GOING TO FIX IT. THE NEW OWNERS OF MY HOME CAN REST ASSURED IF THEY HAVE ANY MORE ISSUES THAT CARL FROM AMERICAN ELECTRICAL CAN FIX THEM!
