I used to come here for years growing up! Starting back in 2013. I moved but every time I come home I try coming here because they were amazing and clean. I wish I would have known before going in today that they changed owners. Not clean at all and no new, sterile instruments were used. The nail polish is old and it was cracking at the second being put on my nail. The gentleman that did my nails was extremely unprofessional. He was rushing me to put my nails to dry in between each coat, was extremely aggressive with cleaning my cuticles and cleaning my feet, and was inappropriately calling me baby every two seconds. Not to mention, he was yelling to his colleagues the entire time not sure about what but he was only one speaking and yelling. When he first came to sit down to give me a manicure, he seemed annoyed to begin with and was watching videos on his phone but then eventually decided to start doing my nails. My nails came out disgusting and horrible. They’re all a different size and shape and have so much residue left over. This is absolutely disappointing to see that such an amazing place has turned to being dirty, unprofessional, and performing terrible work. I will never be coming back here and it’s sad to say that this place was once where I sent every one of my friends but I will be no longer recommending this place.

First and foremost, this review is based solely on their hygiene practices and not the quality of their work, I am a dermatologist in the area and went here after my shift. I went in yesterday for a gel manicure and I noticed that my tech and the tech next to her used an OLD nail filer with pink nail polish residue. They are using what are suppose to be one-time-use/individual products (i.e: mini nail buffer) on more than one person. Their sanitation is a JOKE. They "sanitize" cuticle cutters by spraying rubbing alcohol which does nothing for some bacteria that are commonly found in nail salons. Between each client, tools used should go in a AUTOCLAVE sanitizing system, nope, not here--they just spray from rubbing alcohol on it and return it to the drawer. Moreover, their ventilation system is horrible. As soon as you walk in it reeks of acrylic/the chemicals they use. Their equipment is full of nail dust which is also a source of cross contamination, and speaks volumes on how serious they take their cleaning (or lack of in this case). Cleaning stations were not cleaned in between clients, which is not acceptable, especially in a pandemic. Overall, poor quality when it comes to hygiene, if you don't care about potential infection or sharing products between people then be my guest and go here. I have already filed a complain with the Florida Board of Cosmetology because a salon operating under these conditions should be allowed to continue.
