The price is comparable to other places, it's reasonable for a mani-pedi for the location. Low on staffing sometimes, even with an appointment there is some delayed time...

Shop is a Korean owned business. They speak and understand English. Accept credit cards and walk in are welcome. Parking is available on the street (quarter meters/ 30 minutes / 2 hours max.)

Good service and rates. Just call ahead of time to get in without waiting too long.

They take their time and give me great care for my nails, I especially like the feet massage, she knew exactly where the pressure points were. Left their walking on air..

I would like to share my experience recently at New Nails in metuchen. I'm a very non confrontational person. Even posting this upsets me but that goes to show you how bad my experience was. I have 2 children one being a baby and rarely get mommy time. Today while visiting my family my parents offered to watch the kids so I can get a much needed pedicure. The man was very nice and gave me a decent pedicure but accidentally ruined my new sanuk sandals w the wax they apply. I just got them yesterday and was very upset and decided to approach the owner which is very uncharacteristic of me. She told me she could get it and took a paper towel to them which only caused the wax to rub in and completely ruin the finish. She continued to tell me they looked fine while 2 other people continued to agree w me that the shoes were ruined. The shoes cost me $35 which I was not expecting her to offer to buy me new ones but hoping she would at the least apologize and offer me a free pedicure. She actually did the opposite and kept demanding $20 for pedicure. The women behind her was completely appalled that she kept asking me to pay. While in almost tears now realizing this pedicure was going to cost me $55 (pedicure + shoes) I told her I don't think I should have to pay. She told me she does not give out free pedicures and has been there 13 years and doesn't do that. In the end she gave me the pedicure at 1/2 price absolutely ridiculous. Being I am not a confrontational person I paid and walked out. She actually chased me asking me for my shoes. I guess customers do not come first in her establishment.
