At first was I pleased because it was a relaxed atmosphere and a couple of the staff were funny and friendly. The manicure was ok, it seemed rushed and not a lot of attention to detail. The reason for the one star is because of their dishonest dealings with us. I was taking my daughter in to get a manicure for prom and I was just going to get mine done for fun with her. I told them we only wanted the $12 manicure. The lady pushed hard for us to do the extra $18 gel that would make the manicure last 2 to 3 weeks. After a lot of pushing, I finally gave in and told her that my daughter could get the gel, but I DID NOT want the gel. Half way through my manicure she spoke Vietnamese to the guy doing my nails and I heard her say the word "gel". I had a gut feeling that she was telling him to put gel on my nails anyway. I thought he was just putting on a normal top coat but in the end my original suspicions were correct. When I went to pay, expecting $42, I was charged $60. I was very frustrated and feel like they may as well have just stolen $18 out of my purse. For that reason alone, I will never go back. But also, this $18 upgrade that was forced upon me that was supposed to last 2 to 3 weeks had already started to chip after only a week.

Its my "nail place". At 66 they good care of my feet and hands. Very friendly, caring folks.

Hollywood Nails won't let you down. Tu has been doing my nails for over a year now and there's a reason! She cares about her customers both professionally and personally, and her massage skills are stellar. If you have a pedicure done treat yourself to the citrus scrub, mask and hot stone options. Enjoy! 😌
